    I love how you’ve reviewed this, the metal usb h-pattern shifter and the bangood usb handbrake. You’re doing us budget simmers a great service 😂 I recently came across a set of pedals on eBay with the name “sim jack” (or sim lack?) branded on them. Definitely not cheap but look to be a clone of higher quality pedals. If you ever get the chance, please review those too!

      I've seen those Sim Jack pedals, they do look good. Definitely, potentially something for a future review.

      im saying he left me with more questions than answers as to which is the better buy. He covers them really well. I just don't know which one is the way to go and that's what matters.

      @@nathanlupus7759 he prob has to be carful to not compare directly. It would probably upset the companies. You kinda have to read between the lines with a lot of sim reviewers. I get it though without people sending them stuff to review…. No more channel.

      @@PixelGod240 if you refuse to compare 1 brand vs another and a company doesn't like it. This is the first thing every consumer should know for multiple reasons. Biggest being integrity. Many companies want feedback about negative reviews as long as there is a real reason to give it.
      When he buys them out of pocket he is in no obligation to the companies. he should be as critical as possible cause what he is trying to do is market himself to consumers and not the brands. You make far more money helping consumers then you do a company who only makes 1-100 products. with the lowest margins possible. Unfortunately there is no line sto read between because the overall perception he presents is they are equals. But nothing is truly equal. Maybe one is better in one regard vs the other and that's where it stands out.
      I guess the biggest comparison for me. is "which one feels to be more solid in its construction?" Manufacturers and business are owed nothing and they owe everything to the people willing to support them. Never change that narrative.

    I have that same sequential since summer and it will give you a failure in the electronics and it makes you fail when changing gears, If you are skillful and do a couple of Mod you will have sequential with incredible touch and to last a long time. I completely removed the electronics (micro-pushbutton, arduino and USB cable) and put two pushbuttons inside (up and down) a 3-wire cable that goes to a LeoBodnar board where I also connect the pedal board and the handbrake. I also made a bigger hole in the aluminum where the lever goes and I put a rigid rubber washer, all that to avoid the rattling noise that makes it standard, it became unbearable using bodyshakers. replace the handle with a lower one and the touch with the short route makes it for me the preferred sequential of several that I have ... There is a video on my channel, it is very short and recorded with the mobile, I am not youtuber ... Greetings.

      Great feedback, thanks Jose. Very good point about bass shakers, that will most definitely pass through vibrations and create rattle from the lateral play of the stick hitting the sides of the opening.

    Just ordered one of these a week ago, but also picked up a longer shifter knob as I was worried that the knob was too short, what’s your experience been while using it with the stock shifter knob?

    • @SimRacingCorner
      @SimRacingCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ideally, with the stock hande it's best mounted quite high so your hand is not over the top of the handle and it's good. Otherwise, you are pushing into that top edge of the handle which isn't comfortable.

    how would you compare it to the h pattern aliexpress shifter in the sequential mode i have the h pattern after watching your review i bought one and think its the dogs bollocks the sequential option is nice on it to so not sure weather its worth buying this or sticking with the one i have

    • @SimRacingCorner
      @SimRacingCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also have plastic seq mod for the AliExpress H Pattern, I picked it up after that review. It's a functional mod and it's perfectly good for what it is. Personally, I always prefer a separate seq shifter, it's just a nicer thing to have for the stronger tactile effect. But if you're happy with what you have already then no need for this.

      Sounds like a problem with the microswitch. Maybe the switch isn't being fully pressed. Possibly you just need to open up the shifter and bend the microswitch arm a little.
