To reach a massive global audience such as what BTS and Blackpink have, they must at least be able to communicate in English in any interview or to any artistes. Mina definitely has natural English accent. You can tell that she was visiting Texas as a kid. I know she's shy, but she could do really well in English if she studied it.

They're more comfortable and funnier in Korean so there was no need to be made to speak English. Many Korean filmmakers and producers don't seem to realize the biggest films and shows from Korea don't try to speak other languages unnecesarily.

When Mina started speaking I wasn't looking at the screen, and I got shocked, like "what's going on?! Who can speak English so well?!". So I agree with other comments. Mina will have to talk more, as well as Chae. That would be so nice to see especially because Mina doesn't talk much in Korean interviews.
