I was planning to buy byd atto 3 next month but due your experience in service, I am not happy at all.
Firstly, 2500 for just minor periodic check up is way more.
And the time interval is really awful. It should be around 10,000km.

Service quality is good, only the minor issue for washing but hope it will be solved soon.

@@MrHada007I got my first service for my Nexon EV Max, didn't get charged a penny ! Waiting lounge was excellent at Sipradi with free tea coffee, chess ludo games, magazines, etc

I don't think you should only consider this to change the booking as Atto 3 is an amazing car. You will love this car.
Their service is good but the problem is only for washing and the charges.
I hope it would be maintained in future as the no. of vehicle grows.

I hear they recently bought Spark Auto now, If possible do a follow up video on your next service if you can see any improvement on the experience.
Byd must open his won service center and 6000 km and 6 month every service and charge must be 10 servicing and service charge must be only 1500 in my opinion

Not the best driving experience on this car. Love the features but it lags some where . I worry about Battery and resale value . After 7 yrs what will be the resale value when it's battery has lost its performance and if battery replacement is required it will cost 50lakhs plus . Nepal isn't still ready for this .
The vehicle itself is so good, enjoying every bit of it.
I don't think the battery replacement cost would be so much. It will cheaper as the cost of battery is decreasing day by day.
@@CarHaru I read somewhere that an owner was charged 25000 USD for battery replacement caused by an accident . life span of battery is approx 10 yrs so you can do the math on depreciation It can get cheaper or it can get more expensive, time will tell . The charging time also is pretty long like most EVs . I had plans to go for ev but sticking to seltos as I do lot of outside valley trips. The new one launched in India 2023 facelift is almost the perfect SUV and luxurious inside . Waiting for its l aunch in Nepal. No doubt the future is evs but let's wait and watch it's resale in couple of years before I make a decision
if you replace any parts that fine if not only washed and checked up quite expensive i filled.lakup knowledge for washing because not using proper equipment.
Even in the petrol engine cars the service interval is 10000 kms. Bt this is Nepal they make their own rules n nobody is accoutable for anything. Being worlds' biggest ev manufacturing company i don't think they should tie up with any other small auto companies for service. I feel the same issue while servicing that they r not careful especially for scratches

The service has been much better now. They even opened new service center and planning to open 3s services all over Nepal soon...
I just booked atto 3. I don’t think I will be taking a delivery now. I drive Nexon ev and i10 both purchased due to easy service and ease of maintenance . Thinking of adding another one but looking at its outsourced service I am not comfortable riding this thing which I guess can’t be fixed if there is to occur a major problem.
Last thing my Nexon Ev has done 10,000 km with 3 service and 3rd service cost 126/- rupees look at the difference 😮

Is there any BYD owned service center in ktm valley? I am in doubt now as didn’t think of’ company not having its own certified service center. 66 lakh is good amount for an EV in Nepal.

It takes about 60 units of electricity on full charge as this is of 60 kWh. The cost per km on avg is around Rs. 1.5 - Rs. 2 depending upon where you charge and your total units of home.

I m not understanding your language but i want to seen service experience in india but got this video bcoz i m confues in tata punch ev or upcoming BYD seagull. But due to your experience i have doubt on byd .
The service is good but the washing was just okay. But they have upgraded the Service Center and the washing quality. So much better now.
@@CarHaru actually showroom is 309km. Far away from my location how can I go for service it's OK to buy from their & I waste our 150kkm warranty in service.
You said you wash car yourself… I also do mine… I use Vista Shampo. I have a question - how do you clean turnk dust?
I have added the floor mat to top of the boot so I just remove that mat and clean with the wet cloth. You can also add boot mat or just vacuum it.

@@KrishnaSunuwar Oh I see. I usually don't clean the front. But I inquired at the service center for that. We can use air blower or We can use soft wet cloth to clean.

Not good. Year mai kei naferey paani service ma 8500 janey vo. Filter and disc pad ferda ta around 10 to 12k yrly janey raixa service mai. Looting customers in the name of servicing for sure.
पेट्रोल/डिजल गाडीको सर्भिसिङ्ग नै हरेक ५ हजार किमीमा गरिन्छ भने इलेक्ट्रिकमा हरेक २० वा २५ हजारमा हुनुपर्ने हो। इलेक्ट्रिक गाडीमा पनि पेट्रोल गाडी बराबर नै सर्भिसिङ्ग फी लिने मनसाय लिएको रहेछ वर्ष भरिमा। यो गलत छ।
