This is so neat to see. I downloaded all the Castaway items as CC for the regular Sims 2 game. It's interesting to see them in action in Castaway Stories and see the difference. Some of the CC items have the same functions attached to them, others work a little differently, and some are just decorative. They are great for all sorts of rags to riches, prehistoric, and castaway story lines.
Castaway stories was actually my first ever The Sims game. Before, my family didn't really have our own computer. My parents got me this one for Christmas once and I had no idea how to play; I remember the struggle very vividly... I wish I still had the disc, I'd love to play it now when my knowledge of the Sims in million times bigger than 14 years ago. And Don hitting on all the locals? Yes. I'm all for it.
What a nice idea to remake a known character to Sims Castaway Stories! I usually just play with either of the 2 defaults and just run with it. It seems like the text and story line will be the same, but involving Don in the mix is just a layer of fun!

As someone who actually only learned about the existence of the "Stories" games in the past year, this is a trip and the pre-mades being used is a great idea lol Don is the perfect Pleasantview choice for Castaway. I need to download the games and give them a try. Recently tried Medieval for the first time as well and that's been super fun! I've never played any of the spin-off or console titles before this.
This was a lot of fun! I also saw those pictures of Vidcund, and I think your choice to bring in Don was a really great one. It'll be a lot of fun seeing what happens next, and how Don faces the challenges on the island. :) And oh wow that water is sooo nice

I remember wanting the stories games back in the day but never got them. Cool to see them now.
I really enjoy this spin off, too! What a fun idea to use a premade from the main game! I finished this game twice and got access to the families on that other island but was disappointed we couldn't use the abandoned lots from this island. Would love to see a let's play of all the families on the unlocked island after the scripted story ends.

I want them.

i can create those Sims.

the problem with that is.
if I put those same Sims.
in those households.
it will be kind of.
hard for me.
to figure out.

so what I am saying is.

i can remove those Sims.
but if i delete those Sims.
from the clipboard.

i meant delete the wrong.

and since the Sims.

would look the same.
it would be hard for me.
