Author Andrea Perron visits with Norma, the current owner of the Harrisville farmhouse to discuss the paranormal activity that still occurs there. Here is more information about Norma: www.tv.com/show...
And they are proud of what they are BORN with. That’s what I find difficult to understand. How can one by proud of an accident of birth, like skin color, gender, or how much your parents accomplished?
Update 2020 .. I am so thrilled to have come across this .. Andrea , you are the soul between the pages .. i am so honored to have ventured in this wonderful life event .. a story to be told by you is epic .. Thank you .. :)
I've been a skeptic most of my life, but now that I'm nearly 60, I'm starting to have more of an "open mind," as I am beginning to see my own mortality; and it frightens me. My mother, who was from the south, always believed in haunts & souls who were not at rest. There is still a part of me that is a non'believer, but how u tell ur story and the things that happened in ur home as as family, sent a chill down my spine. I saw the Conjuring, and that was the 1st time in years, that I had to watch a scary movie with the lights on; see. I've been watching horror almost from the cradle. My mother died suddenly, at home in February 1991. She out lived my father 9 yrs & 2 days. In fact, the day she passed away, was the day my dad was buried in 1982. I dream abt them almost every night. There is hardly a night that I do not dream of them. I am never frightened of them, as they bring me comfort. But I never got over the rudeness of losing my mother, who died at home, with me there. She had a heart attack. I myself am a survivor of 2 strokes. I fully intend 2 buy ur books. I enjoy reading, but I do it nowadays in summertime. The eyes ain't what they used 2 b. Thank u 4 sharing ur story. U have a very comforting voice.💞💞👪
I'm what I like to call a "skeptical believer". I believe these things exist, I just don't believe every single person who claims to have experienced it. I consider all factors and possible alternatives instead of automatically believing someone, which was how the Warren's began to operate their investigations. I think many of those who don't believe in spirits don't realize that what they really don't believe in is Hollywood's version of the spiritual realm. Unless and until they experience it for themselves, they really don't understand that it's nothing like the movies and television. A lot is embellished for entertainment. It's usually not that exciting. Lol As someone who has experienced a demonic infestation tho, I can tell you personally that THAT is FAR more terrifying than any movie! It was nothing like Hollywood's depiction of demonic activity. It was worse... just in a different way. We suffered from PTSD for years afterward and I wouldn't want anyone, friend or foe, to ever go thru what we suffered thru!
She also claims in one book to be able to talk to aliens. Andrea Perron is out of her mind. Mental illness likely runs in her family. Sad that such delusions were encouraged by the Warrens, who should be remembered only as remorseless conartists.
What a fantastic video. Having grown up in a haunted home myself, I can relate to some of these things as I have had my own experiences as a child. I love the mention of the connection of water and spirits. Water has a very deep connection with spirits in fact. Thank you for posting this I wish I had had sisters or brothers when I was a child at least I would have had someone to speak with that would listen to me. As for the skeptics, sadly until a skeptic has something drastic happen to them they will remain a skeptic. No need to to fight with them just embrace our different opinions.
@@murk959I really remember reel thing feel like flash back from house of darkness house of light book of house since ghost of Bathsheba ghost reel life wash me set up for Derek Llewellyn feel like in line my brother's house and my room
I live in Harrisville, a mile from this house. I spoke with Norma in September 2013, weeks after The Conjuring movie came out. Norma was quite angry at the time because of the many curious people who had been trespassing on her property since the movie's release, and she has had to call the local police many times. She told me that the house is NOT haunted and that the movie was mostly made up by Hollywood. I gently disputed this with her - knowing that she had previously acknowledged her own ghostly experiences of the house, as shown in this video, and also on the TV show Ghost Hunters (2nd Season Episode 7). I'm sure that Norma was extremely upset by the outcry from this film and wants people to believe the stories were all fabricated so they will leave her house alone. However, I have no doubt that the house is truly haunted.
I really want to know if the “7 soldiers in the wall” have ever been verified and found, and if so, have they been removed, identified and given peace by being buried on hallowed ground
There is actually a normal family living there now and they think they have found bodies buried by the wall at bottom of the garden and found an old cemetery. Also look at a explorer called Josh he is investigating it all. It’s on you tube exploring with Josh
It would be a shame to start ripping the house apart on a ghosts say so. But if the house has new owners and are opening it up to the public, it would be big news I guess.
I just now found this video after meeting Andrea three years ago in Saint Augustine and learning of their story. I am fascinated with the paranormal but can’t watch scary movies (go figure). Her pictures in the barn are fascinating, as if she and her whole family. I love this woman and can’t get enough of her!!
Many have stated "how you could you stay in a house for ten years?", you get used to the activity. I had a tv studio business in an old hotel built in 1900's or earlier and we had activity almost everyday. From noises, apparitions, fogs, voices, screams, black shadows, objects being moved, temp. changes and actually physical attacks. I was scratch and shoved down the stairs at the property. Multiple witness to all these events sometimes everyday. We kept the truth from most our visitors, talent and clients but sometimes it was hard to not explain what was happening. Its real and this things actually happen to everyday people not just in movies.
I will never live in the house again...I visit the house all the time. It still feels like home to me and probably always will, which is a scary sensation in its own right.
I don't blame you. I loved hearing about your experiences. I've had many paranormal experiences myself and it does change your outlook on life after death.
This lady Norma Sutcliffe is a liar, she's tried to claim Andrea and her family made up the whole story. She also claims the house is not haunted ? She befriended Andrea and when the movie came out she flipped on their friendship and started lieing about her and her family. Shame on you Norma we know you're a liar and I hope Bathsheba comes for you next lol
It always amazes me when I come across this. having gone thru a small tidbit of things in a house, i now have the most grand respect and appreciation for these issues. you Andrea... have my upmost respect!
i watched an interview with andrea & she says they actually had to tone the movie down becauee the things she & her family told the producers was "unbelievable"
Anyone notice @ 0:56 seconds a real fast orb shoots towards the camera.Seems to come out from the lady's right shoulder. If I am the first to notice that, then I get a prize! Definitely an orb!
+sophie wheeler Even some strange clicking noise and a thud? Starting at that exact moment. Idk if that is associated or not. The ladies didn't seem to notice.
Ms. Perron’s recollections seem as honest and real as anything I’ve heard. I still don’t believe in ghosts but, at the same time, I don’t detect sensationalism or deception. I’ll definitely check out House Of Darkness, House Of Light. Fascinating!!! Thank you!!!
+monchis6900 She not tired she's pissed because she didn't get a fat pay check from the movie The Conjuring. They were going to use her farmhouse for the movie and then the director changed his mind and decided to film at a property in North Carolina.
Andrea is using autosuggestion to basically get Norma to say the house is haunted...I don't beleive for a minute that Norma thinks the house is haunted...it's a trick con artists use...and that's exactly what Andrea is...a con artist..!
+Maggie Jiggs Norma has the show Ghost Hunter's, I think season 5 at her farmhouse. If you watch the that episode, which I can tell you didn't. You will see Norma talk about the Ghosts at her home. Don't make judgements based on one video.
I've watched a few today..do you have a link..I think Norma and her hubby were probably cashing in on the story..I know I would..but they were intellectual people..I doubt they believed a word about the ghosties 😀
The fact that there are parts she chose to leave out is terrifying. She made sure to put so much depth and truth and information, and yet there are things that happened to them that she doesn't want people to know about.....
I’m not sure whom is alive from the family and Norma and her husband in 2020, but I’m about to go down a rabbit hole today. Also, Norma seems like such a genuine and kind woman. ❤️
Home alone watching this. Lol...It's daylight still though. I couldn't watch this at night because my apartment is creepy at night and my mind would pay tricks on me. I do believe this really happened.
I remember Andrea stated years ago that she'd like to but it costs a lot and the book sales don't actually make much revenue so it hasn't been feasible yet. Maybe if we put the word out someone would volunteer?
I found this to be so fascinating and I appreciate Andrea telling the story . I only wish the people that that came here to watch the video were here to actually here to respect her instead of behave like ignorant children. Thank you Andrea , with repsect xo Donna Parish-Biscoff
Hi Andrea I am so fascinated by this farmhouse, I love the history to it I would love to stay there or visit but I’m living in the Uk, you are so brave for living there.
What’s weird is that Norma has now moved out and when she did she left a lot of her books and personal journals behind, and the new owners have the books. In a exploring with josh video on TH-cam he skimmed through the journal and in there she wrote about how she was a skeptic, she didn’t believe that ghost were in the house. But in this video she’s talking to Andrea about her experiences, and then when the movie released she came out and said it’s all a lie. I personally believe Andrea and her family are telling the truth, but I think Norma was either in true denial or a liar who wanted attention and envied the Perron’s family’s fame.
I think she didn't expect the amount of people who would begin to bother her especially once the movie came out. I don't know if it ever reached "Amityville" levels of intrusion, but was still pretty bad.
I think after all the people kept coming on her property and scaring them over and over Norma was willing to say anything to shut down any interest in the house. From what I understand they were going through torture from trespassers after the movie came out.
Norma is a liar and an opportunist. She gave interviews to Inside Edition prior to The Conjuring, stating that she experienced paranormal occurrences, and she also requested that the house be featured on the show, Paranormal Witness. She was fine with being in a haunted house when it benefited her, and when it became inconvenient, it was all a hoax. She called the Perron family liars, but, in this video, she’s sitting here with Andrea and confirming the house is haunted. Andrea’s story has never wavered, so who is the liar? Norma was bitter that she didn’t the long end of the stick in terms of The Conjuring’s success.
I loved the movie and I admire Andrea greatly for telling her story even though soo many don’t believe. I myself lived alone in a home for 8 years that a spirit resided in. It was the original owner of the home and she died in the home of old age. She wasn’t intrusive, I just knew she was there and would see her ‘mist’ fairly regularly out of the corner of my eye. My dogs knew she was there too. 3 days after I moved in I told the previous owners son in law I was pretty sure I had seen his mother in law and he wasn’t the least surprised. Oddly enough I never questioned who it, I just had a awareness of who it was.
The woman on the right gives me weird vibes... anytime Andrea Perron says anything about feeling kinda negative with the house the other woman gets noticeably offended
Great video ❤️ for some reason the picture of the little yellow door gave me goosebumps...I just got the strange feeling dead children were playing in there and running a muck! Just ordered your books can’t wait for them to come in!
Hi Andrea! I just finished your third book and the lesson I learned is to not to fear life and the unknown although a hard lesson to follow.I remember seeing "A Haunting" episode on television where this man tried everything to get a angry spirit out of his house and after years of frustration and fear he learned to love it.When he loved it the haunting subsided.I think he said "I loved it out" Too many people live in constant fear, fear of life let alone spirits whether good or evil.such a small lesson to learn but...on another note I saw the video Norma made last year what made her change her mind so drasticcally?she made a complete 180 and really seems suspicious.
I found your book and was reading it not realizing at first that the movie "The conjuring" was based on this. I was half way through and thought I would like to see this in a movie. Then when I got to the part where you thought you had a name on the one spirit I looked it up online. Found your channel here and can't wait to see the movie.
Norma should turn this place into a bed & breakfast, charge for haunted tours or stay the night for investigations. Some people love this type of stuff.
Wow...Thank you Andrea for this. This is amazing that you got together here in the house. I have your 2-volume book and have been slowly reading it over time(I am always in the middle of 6-7 books at any given..), it is great reading, and very creepy indeed. I have my own experiences so I can relate. Thank you very much for this. I hope you are all well.
The hardest part of my childhood was explaining what I saw and felt to my mother that didn't believe until it became real life to her. The aggression was scary and my mother and father knew it was real.
I have read all 3 books of the House of darkness house of light trilogy. I am absolutely fascinated with every thing about the Parron family. The house is beautiful
Im not sure if you guys hear the knock and if you guys have read the book it says that knocks would be heard like taps on the walls 8:05 as if a door was opening and then a thud..
Everyone either believes or doesn't in something. When you're a child and you experience paranormal occurrences, you don't have a say so on whether or not you can force your family to move. When you're an adult and buy a house, you put everything into it money, work, etc. if something paranormal happens even frightening, you can't just up and leave with your family with nowhere to go, no money to live on. Every since I was a kid I've experienced paranormal occurrences, having never been influenced one way or another from my family or friends. As an only child, I didn't have anyone to talk to about it and I was home alone for long periods of time while my parents worked dealing with tbe activity alone. The activity was freaky at first but nothing violent or malevolent. I became older, an adult when my parents decided to purchase their first home and wanted me to move in with them, to help with mortgage and whatever else. Moving into this house that we live in now, was the first time I have ever experienced anything violent and demonic. I don't say this to make people believe or not but as a fact that some people do experience phenomena even though others don't and may never. As a Christian, of course my faith tells me to give it to God and depend upon Him. But no matter how many times I have it doesn't stop the activity, in which my parents actually experienced for themselves in this house having never believed me before. I would go to God but mainly because it keeps me from getting hurt physically and keeps me spiritually prepared enough to dismiss it, though it is freaking scary. To this day, activity is always happening, though not as bad as the people in this video explain, but still enough that I am living in my own personal hell. I'm a normal human who pays my bills and taxes, doesn't drink or smoke or take narcotics. I never asked to be terrorized at night or woken up with bruises or have voices threaten me or growls I walk past with absolutely no one but me in the house. Sometimes things happen that people think are unexplained but can actually be explained or debunked, which is usually what I do to make sure that its not paranormal, though in this house rarely if anything gets debunked. You make your own mind up on whether to believe or not, if the things I experience could have a rational explaination, I would be skeptical too. But to slam people's beliefs or experiences down just because you don't believe in anything or you've never experienced it yourself, doesn't make it not true. It justs makes your world a bit more narrower than others and considering what I deal with, that may be a good thing. And no, there will be no movie or book about what I've experienced. Reliving them over and over again is not something I wish to do, besides that the rest of my life is *snore* boring.
It's good that you faithfully attend. You can light up sage and start with the ceiling/attic and work your way down to the front door. Make sure to have the front door open when you do this. This way you can push out any malevolent spirit out of the house. Be gentle and say "This is my family's home, and you are not welcomed here. Depart and leave us in peace" in every rooms in the house till you reach the door and say "Blessed be!" Close the door and it should help you.
Thanks, Shawnie. We've actually done that, my grandfather as well who is a Deacon has also done a house blessing when the attacks first happened. It calmed it down but unfortunately hasn't stopped. I found that the more my mom attends church, the less active it is. I haven't been able to attend because of my disability but I have my own relationship with God so I keep up in that respect. It knows our weaknesses though and because I'm home all day/night it knows when to make its presence known, especially when I least expect it. Unfortunately, nothing we've done short of an exorcism, has made it go away, My parents are firm on ignoring it and pray to God, in which I do. With two of my grandparents' deaths, I've found much stronger protection on my side for they are always with us. I've lived with paranormal activity almost my entire life so I take it as it comes but always with my faith. Sometimes things you have to keep with your strengths and my faith and family is mine. Now its more of a bark than bite, but boy when it bit, it bit.
id sooner live homeless than live in a haunted house! story is bullshit, people move out onto the street for alot less than "being haunted everynight" The conjuring imo = bullshit, too many gaping holes in the story if it was so true why didn they do a documentry at the house id imagine real life footage of these events would sell more than a movie that and proving ghosts to be real.
Anyname willdo financial reasons keep women who get the shit beat out of them in relationships..... I could see the same for hauntings. I am currently reading the first book and can see why they would stay.
colleen JAY Bullshit for one, woman in those relationships have a fear they ll be beaten if leave the house, i doubt a ghost is going to follow a woman around the world and beat her to a pulp... not to mention it was a whole family not just a woman.. you d have to be really gullible to belive they d stay in the house if all that was happening and endanger there family, Why didnt they record these ghosts? make millions off the footage and buy a new mansion, somewhere else ? i mean if they were so frequent it d be easy to capture... so many holes in the story! Or better yet, charge people to stay the night in there haunted house! im sure loads of ghost hunters would relish the chance at such an opportunity! and clearly there is alot of them out there!
Andrea, I am definitely going to buy the book. Thanks for uploading this great interview. And I am looking forward to the movie based on the events as seen through the perspective of the Warrens, as well.
Yes it is. I love the look and the feeling you get from being around a property with history. My home has the same vibe built in 1798. It is haunted as well. Ive have had many things go missing including my small tool boxes only to turn around and find them stacked up end to end like Lincoln logs on my kitchen table. I don't have any malicious spirits tbough...they just bang the walls occasionally and hide things.
@@santoparfano1910 Your home and property sounds amazing. I would love to know more about your home's history and the many spirits that you live with in your home. I'm positive that many others would be as well. Would you consider telling your story, or having someone narrate it for you if that would make you feel more comfortable?
I could hear a low rumbling sound several times in the video, it reminds me of Amityville Horror, when the father is in the basement and he hears the same noise. The spirits are active. Spirits from long ago surely would be fascinated by modern day equipment (the fridge, dishwasher, telephone etc.), it's also a communication tool. Everything that was happened on the land is trapped, it's like a hurricane of events (Wars, deaths, the occult, mental illness, suicide, murder), quite a story.
First, let me say that I do not doubt for one moment that your family experienced many things here. My background is in history and research. After a few weeks, of looking, I do have to say I'm satisfied that Prudence Arnold did not die in that house, or even in Rhode Island. I am also satisfied that it has nothing to do with Bathsheba Sherman. Now, what tormented your mom and sister may have masqueraded as this woman, it was something totally different; likely not a human spirit... I will also say that I am very disappointed in Ms. Sutcliffe. The way she turned on you about all this is just wrong. Though she later denied it, she CLEARLY agreed that things had happened there. While she is correct that certain historical events attributed to the house never hapened there, to dismiss your experiences outright, after watching her in THIS video, is inconscienable!
I totally agree with you. But I am approaching this from an intuitive not a historical perspective. This haunting has nothing to do with Prudence Arnold or Bathsheba Sherman. It is some hostile force, possibly picking up an etheric shell of a once living person, but distinct from that person.
The books would have been much better and a lot shorter had Andrea not elaborated so much on everything. There were parts that were amazing and parts where it went on and on and on. I can’t wait until October 31st when Ghost Adventures investigates. I remember in the book that the old man that sold the Perron family the farmhouse, told the father to leave the lights on at night. Now, if someone told me that right after I bought a house, I’d firstly ask why they didn’t tell me that BEFORE I purchased the house and secondly, I’d move out immediately! If someone tells you to leave the lights on at night, that’s a red flag! I also remember that the hauntings seemed to affect the mother the most. It’s an absolutely beautiful place, though.
I saw the movie yesterday. Truthfully, I did enjoy it, it was scary, but it is The Amityville Horror, The Exorcist, Poltergeist, and What Lies Beneath all rolled into one. It is the same old Hollywood horror films.
andrea, you are blessed with a strong spirited soul and mind you have a power within yourself that is as deep as a well that moves mountains you are the protector of your family ty andrea for sharing your story ty for being the brave one and you might have lost the home you once lived in but you gained a friend (norma) an everlasting friendship and this home will always be your home in your heart bless you and your family
I live in Rhode Island, about 15 minutes from here. I've seen more spirits in my lifetime than I can even remember to count. Rhode Island is a very haunted place. Nothing demonic thank God! But I've had contact with and seen many spirits.

Hello fellow fans and friends of Andrea and the Perron family. I just have a question that maybe one of ya'll could help me with. I finished reading the first two books several months ago and am still sitting on pins and needles waiting for book 3 to show itself in print. Anybody hear when the book will finally be available? Any info is greatly appreciated!!! And Andrea, you and your family are always in my thoughts, and I send good karma to each and every one of you and also the current inhabitants of the farmhouse. Such a great story, and well told as well!!!! Bobbi Jo in FL
Those old photos of the property look like paradise. I loved playing in the creek when I was a boy. We'd make waterfalls, have boat races, throw rocks at the water spiders, cross on high balance beams, look for crayfish and hunt for snakes, dare each other to run down the steepest embankments, i got attacked by a swarm of mud bees taking one of those dares and got 21 nauseating bee stings for the trouble.

It seems obvious to me that Norma is more then likely the aggressor in the latest feud.... Andrea and she had been friendly for 20 yrs before the film was made, and after watching this you can see that, Norma not only acknowledged having had experiences in the house, but also having a keen interest in others experiences too.... She say's that while running workshops and a Day care on the property, others also came to her with stories they had inside the home..... AND perhaps most telling, that she bought the property already knowing it was supposedly haunted, and not feeling afraid of that activity.... The tone of Norma's rebuttal video is so angry and vindictive, She can barely even speak Andrea's name.... What could be behind such a change of heart?! We know that owners of the Amityville house have also been pestered with people constantly wanting to catch a glimpse..... and certainly Norma had to know the book would attract attention.... To me this feels more like a money issue.... She talks about fears of losing the place due to the cost, and that they absolutely love the home..... IDK, I guess from an outside point of view, Andrea's motives seem sincere... The book is about her life, and how important this chapter was in who she and her family became.... Almost a spiritual journey they took. But Norma comes off as a person who feels "ownership" over anything having to do with this house, and probably thinks she is entitled to some sort of profit. Sad really when you see how close they once were...
***** It's because Andrea is a liar. Her family is a liar. Norma has all the i formation about the actual history of the house and it conclude the same thing as this historian conclude...they are liars. dreamingcasuallypoetry.blogspot.ca/2014/07/the-real-bathsheba-sherman-true-history.html
***** Look at other Conjuring House videos on TH-cam and you will find Norma ranting about all the hardship she's been through since the movie came out. She is definitely no longer friends with Andrea.
If Norma was smart, she would have opened up her house and gave tours or something to make the money she needed or wanted. I am sure if she did that she would have made a bundle.
I'd love to hear your books read out loud by you .... I really enjoyed the pictures at the end of this .... Great video 💜💚💟💛💙 always a like 👍👍 God bless us all 💞
When i went there to investigate the entire time I felt a very heavy feeling although nothing really crazy happened besides feeling like something touched my shoulder while I was doing a Spirit Box session it was still an amazing home to visit!
just noticed the camera jerked slightly right after Perron finishes the sentence about her sister coming clean after 3 years. start watching from 41:05
21:46 the current owner/lady is so cute when she laughs as she says her husband didnt know it was a haunted house....her laugh cracks me up ! nice lady....both of you ladies....wonderful...to listen to you chit chat
I lived in an old house that was built before the US was established. I lived there by myself for 2 decades and heard many sounds that I realized were old pipes banging and the building settling. When there were heavy rains the basement made strange noises for days as the high water table receded causing the stone foundation to contract. This is all a normal occurrence for an old house.
I was nervous about seeing "The Conjuring" cause it looks terrifying, but the fact that I know you and your family are alive makes me feel a lot more comfortable seeing it. Lovely interview...it piqued my interest & I'm gonna get the book. Hope it's available for digital download.
Yet norma comes out and says it's all a lie. Why would you admit the house is still haunted and then release a video saying it was all a lie. Sad! Thank you for sharing your experiences Andrea :)
@Andrea Perron Firstly, thank you for your videos. I have insomnia and I actually fell asleep early last night, when watching some of your videos. You have a calming tone. As both an interviewer and at times, an interviewee, I found this video a bit odd, as I felt as though you were presenting this video as a promotion for your book, House of Darkness, House of Light (later, to become a trilogy of books...). Yet, your friend Norma, here in this video, is trying to steer the attention towards herself, as the current homeowner. It is almost as if, in a way, Norma is trying to say that, your personal experiences are only *a chapter* to a much larger story -- in which =everyone= whom has lived in the house, is a part of. I know when it comes to people whom are "best friends", jealousy of personal and professional advancements, can rear it's ugly head. Example: when you asked Norma her "opinion" on your book, she first used the word "interesting". Sheesh. I would have screamed "cut"! I could go on at length, but I believe you get my point. Thank you an best of luck to you with the books and future endeavors.
I wish you could have met George Lutz before he passed. Just listening to this one video, your experiences are so much like what they went through in Amityville. The house drew them in. They became reclusive as a family. Inviting people over, but never wanting to leave the house themselves. What was in the house picked on family members individually.
I know this comment is old but I’m leaving this reply for anyone who may read this reply. George Lutz was a freak and a satanist and there are a few documentaries out about him now where they talk about his constant attempts to contact demons and dark spirits in the house. He was a total creep
Ok...so there was daycare in the house?! "Look Mommy- Bethsheda is waving to you from the garden beyond the treeline." "Ok snookums, get your things. It time to get the hell out of here." "Wait Mommy, Bethsheda wants to teach you how to levitate". "Norma. Today IS Snookums last day here at this daycare."
These two seem very chummy here but apparently they had a falling out. Norma Sutcliffe came out with a youtube video claiming the farm house is not haunted and that the events in the movie are totally false, including the history of Bathsheba. I wonder what's really going on here.
listen to watch she is saying while being interviewed , she is not saying this house is haunted at all and on her own research she found out that what this family is saying is a crock of shite , no bitterness on the owners part just lies from the charlatans and the movie studio not keeping the location anonymous and tricking her into this video interview saying it wouldn't be used as an advert for the movie , the owner asked for this very interview to be taken down , but the money grabbing liar andrea perron put it back up , no shame where money is concerned and the real truth will never matter , the perron family are liars for money pure and simple
It is unfortunate that Norma and her husband are being harrassed by curious onlookers that are disturbing their privacy; I get that. But I do not understand how she would throw away a friendship and now denounce, what she had previously stated was fact, because of this. Perhaps she has not had the same experiences, but she is now calling the Perron family outright liars....and that is just bad karma.
Samantha Cass If you listen to the video that Norma made you will fully understand why. I cannot post the link to that video here because TH-cam will block it, but if you send me a private request I will gladly send you the link to it. Believe me when I say that the only people creating "bad karma" by their actions here are Andrea and Carolyn Perron.
Man, it is so tedious scrolling through the comments and just seeing "Did you see that orb! Did you hear that noise! I saw faces in the fireplace/orbs/everything." No you didn't, you've gone looking for the first sight of anything you can construe as paranormal because you're watching a video about an alleged haunting. There aren't faces, it's just various natural shapes or photo pixelation you're seeing as faces because you want to. Those aren't orbs, it's called dust. Maybe try and wonder why there was so much of it in the photos of the barn. Oh, maybe it's cause barns are dusty? No couldn't be, must be orbs. Just stop it.
Amy Jenkins You didn't piss me off though so that little venture was a bit of a failure for you, I am so sorry that that had to happen to you. In any case, I didn't read past that first sentence, have a good day!
In later videos she posted, Norma Sutcliffe swears that the house has never been haunted and has had no paranormal activity at all..... but here she is, beginning at 2:17, talking at length about all the strange incidents that have happened to her and other visitors to the house (before the movie was ever released). But after the movie came out she changed her tune and denied it all.
I've read parts of vol 2 of your book, Andrea. It's very interesting, the dynamic of the children wanting to stay and feeling as if they belonged vs the feelings of torment experienced by your mother. Perhaps the main malevolent force was covetous of the children and the father, while wanting to oust/replace herself with Carol. I definitely would like to talk more if you're still monitoring this account. Thanks! Fred
In season 2 episode 7 of Ghost Hunters, T.A.P.S., investigates the Arnold farmhouse. In it they have footage of the closet hall door in what was Andrea's room opening and closing by itself twice. Also one of the young male investigators was touched by a cold hand in what was the parents room. I heard a voice of a small child calling mommy when the nephew of the Walden couple sat in a chair in the library, that was once the parents room. That episode is worth a look.
Oh, the book is filled with contradictions. First she says the kids refused to be alone, even went to the bathroom together, and then later she details tons of times they played alone. And I always wondered why they didn't ask the owner wtf was going on when it all started. Later on he apparently died, but she never says when exactly. Honestly, I'm in the second boring book and don't believe any of it. Both books are badly written.
Excellent interview / discussion. Thanks for sharing. I would love to see the raw footage of the exchange, without the photo's being overlaid. The reason is because of the plasma seen as well as the click, noticed by others. My guess is there is other happenings on the raw footage.
I really like Andrea Perron. She seems like a person you could talk with for hours. I've never seen "The Conjuring"... It looks too scary, but after I hear about her books I think I'll read them.
It's funny to watch Norma Suttcliffe's response video. She totally re-writes history when she tells it. To listen to her tell it, she has a tone of being disgruntled and being vindictive. She tells the story as if she was being misled or conned. She had a Ghost Hunters TV show at her house previously. She then slanders Andrea. She continues to go on and throw shade all over Ed & Lorraine Warren. Watching her in this video, I have to wonder what happened to make her turn so drastically. I understand that some horrible people have violated her privacy and the privacy of her home. The way she tells it, it seems as though she is trying to paint herself as someone who was skeptical and never believed any of the stories never had any experiences and all that and she has just been sooo victimized by the entire experience. Some people commented on the video accusing her of being angry over not receiving any money from the profits of the film. Why would she need that? The film tells Andrea's story and the story of Andrea's family. Let's hope that whatever emotional wounds the film and the attention it garnered had caused will have subsided or resolved themselves by now.
What's weird is this woman has come out to say the complete opposite and that the house is not haunted. I think she only did that to squelch all the people coming by.
Thanks for the newsflash! Sarcasm intended. I was referring to Lorraine saying at the end of the movie, "Father Gordon is on the phone, he has another another case for us in Long Island." I was quite aware that it had nothing to do with Amityville except for the Warren connection, but thanks for attempting to enlighten me.
It’s nice to hear people speak eloquently and respectfully . These days people seem so aggressive and proud .
Dec. gyrrl my friend there is life after death and good vs evil
Can you share your some of your experiences?
Keith what did she say when you brought up the fact she herself acknowledged her own ghostly experience
She pretty much ignored what I said. I didnt want to upset her more than she was, so I let it go. But we both knew the truth.
wow i can't believe you actually replied after 3 years! That just feels so cool! Thank a lot
Keith but you said you disputed it with her?
You don't live in Rhode Island lies
Ms.Perron
She has such a nice voice I love watching her videos
I really want to know if the “7 soldiers in the wall” have ever been verified and found, and if so, have they been removed, identified and given peace by being buried on hallowed ground
Sad paranormal investigators now own the house and are going to open to the public...but maybe they’ll go into that as well
I want to know also
I will be going In the future. I highly doubt there were any Soldier buried in a wall.
Cool I wish I could come investigate there.
@@NativeRedbone77 Hopefully You Don't Think The Same A Year Later
I had paranormal activity in a place where I worked for 1.5 years. Hey the paycheck was good! You DO get used to it.
Excellent interview. Thanks for sharing the history as well as your family's story in your books. many thanks to Norma as well.
I will never live in the house again...I visit the house all the time. It still feels like home to me and probably always will, which is a scary sensation in its own right.
I don't blame you. I loved hearing about your experiences. I've had many paranormal experiences myself and it does change your outlook on life after death.
Sarah Lee it’s not actually her, it’s a fake account
This lady Norma Sutcliffe is a liar, she's tried to claim Andrea and her family made up the whole story. She also claims the house is not haunted ? She befriended Andrea and when the movie came out she flipped on their friendship and started lieing about her and her family. Shame on you Norma we know you're a liar and I hope Bathsheba comes for you next lol
You are a lovely person Andrea

Much respect to u and ur family for dealing with this situation!!!
i watched an interview with andrea & she says they actually had to tone the movie down becauee the things she & her family told the producers was "unbelievable"
Anyone notice @ 0:56 seconds a real fast orb shoots towards the camera.Seems to come out from the lady's right shoulder. If I am the first to notice that, then I get a prize! Definitely an orb!
oh wow I definitely saw that! I agree that's an orb.
+sophie wheeler Even some strange clicking noise and a thud? Starting at that exact moment. Idk if that is associated or not. The ladies didn't seem to notice.
Great observation!
Yes flash I seen the orb.

Ms. Perron’s recollections seem as honest and real as anything I’ve heard. I still don’t believe in ghosts but, at the same time, I don’t detect sensationalism or deception. I’ll definitely check out House Of Darkness, House Of Light. Fascinating!!! Thank you!!!
Wait! This women Norma acknowledges that her farmhouse is haunted but now she retracts in other videos that it is not?
Cuz she's tired of people going to her property
This house was featured in Ghost Hunters season 2 episode 7 entitled Two Houses
I’m not sure whom is alive from the family and Norma and her husband in 2020, but I’m about to go down a rabbit hole today. Also, Norma seems like such a genuine and kind woman. ❤️
Home alone watching this. Lol...It's daylight still though. I couldn't watch this at night because my apartment is creepy at night and my mind would pay tricks on me. I do believe this really happened.

EXACTLY 💥💣.........🌘🌹🌄🏡 FARMHOUSE#
@@michaelcaballero1937 I can only read your comment in my notifications. When I go to see it in the thread or under the video it isn't there.

Just ordered your books can’t wait for them to come in!
absolutely fascinating. LOVE these women, and wish I had half their courage!
Hi Andrea! I just finished your third book and the lesson I learned is to not to fear life and the unknown although a hard lesson to follow.I remember seeing "A Haunting" episode on television where this man tried everything to get a angry spirit out of his house and after years of frustration and fear he learned to love it.When he loved it the haunting subsided.I think he said "I loved it out"
Too many people live in constant fear, fear of life let alone spirits whether good or evil.such a small lesson to learn but...on another note I saw the video Norma made last year what made her change her mind so drasticcally?she made a complete 180 and really seems suspicious.
That's because Andrea manipulates and lies and she felt she had to go along. Nothing of the history is true.
I found your book and was reading it not realizing at first that the movie "The conjuring" was based on this. I was half way through and thought I would like to see this in a movie. Then when I got to the part where you thought you had a name on the one spirit I looked it up online. Found your channel here and can't wait to see the movie.
Absolutely enjoyed the interview!

Love the house! It's surrounded by beautiful grounds too.
Norma should turn this place into a bed & breakfast, charge for haunted tours or stay the night for investigations. Some people love this type of stuff.
I love this type of stuff. If i could i would go to this house
NativeRedbone77 Norma does not want to do this she wants to be left alone that is one reason has retracted her support that it is haunted

Now its more of a bark than bite, but boy when it bit, it bit.
id sooner live homeless than live in a haunted house! story is bullshit, people move out onto the street for alot less than "being haunted everynight"
The conjuring imo = bullshit, too many gaping holes in the story if it was so true why didn they do a documentry at the house id imagine real life footage of these events would sell more than a movie that and proving ghosts to be real.
Anyname willdo financial reasons keep women who get the shit beat out of them in relationships..... I could see the same for hauntings. I am currently reading the first book and can see why they would stay.
colleen JAY Bullshit for one, woman in those relationships have a fear they ll be beaten if leave the house, i doubt a ghost is going to follow a woman around the world and beat her to a pulp... not to mention it was a whole family not just a woman.. you d have to be really gullible to belive they d stay in the house if all that was happening and endanger there family,
Why didnt they record these ghosts? make millions off the footage and buy a new mansion, somewhere else ? i mean if they were so frequent it d be easy to capture... so many holes in the story!
The entire property is stunning.

What a great video. Thank you for sharing your conversation....looking forward to the movie and am about to order the book.
This comment is underrated, you deserve more readers
I believe that rumbling sound was likely your own intestines rumbling from all the spooky bullshit you've gladly swallowed.
Do you have time stamps?
It is some hostile force, possibly picking up an etheric shell of a once living person, but distinct from that person.
awesome video! You are such a wonderful story teller, I could listen to you for hours about your story!

Okay this scared the crap out of me, it's night time and my husband is snoaring like crazy lol
😂😅 I feel your pain. Thank God my husband got a breathing machine and no longer snores.
I want the Ghost Adventures crew to investigate this farmhouse! I want to see that entire family of apparitions she keeps talking about!
Written 5 years ago and they have investigated!😊

I remember watching this a year ago and thought about seeing it again. Such a beautiful house
+Jasmine D I agree with you.
If Norma was smart, she would have opened up her house and gave tours or something to make the money she needed or wanted. I am sure if she did that she would have made a bundle.
Maybe she’s possessed by the demon thing now
I'd love to hear your books read out loud by you .... I really enjoyed the pictures at the end of this .... Great video 💜💚💟💛💙 always a like 👍👍 God bless us all 💞
Can you see the orbs in the pictures?? Scary
When i went there to investigate the entire time I felt a very heavy feeling although nothing really crazy happened besides feeling like something touched my shoulder while I was doing a Spirit Box session it was still an amazing home to visit!
just noticed the camera jerked slightly right after Perron finishes the sentence about her sister coming clean after 3 years. start watching from 41:05
"The Orbs "...say it all!
houndjog I know I saw that but I can’t understand there is a lot of history right the house still be haunted???
Right! They are happy Andrea is there
I saw it Fast behind andrea
21:46 the current owner/lady is so cute when she laughs as she says her husband didnt know it was a haunted house....her laugh cracks me up ! nice lady....both of you ladies....wonderful...to listen to you chit chat
I'm very interested now in reading your books now Andrea and I'm really drawn to the film adaption.
It’s just crazy, this house it’s stunningly beautiful. It looks old and stuff, but very welcoming. And that’s very scary
Regardless of everything, it's still a beautiful looking home. It literally makes you feel like your smack in the middle of history.
"Look Mommy- Bethsheda is waving to you from the garden beyond the treeline."
"Ok snookums, get your things. It time to get the hell out of here."
"Wait Mommy, Bethsheda wants to teach you how to levitate".
"Norma. Today IS Snookums last day here at this daycare."
dude I laughed so hard at this comment hahahahahahahahaaha!
Thank you 💜✨
These two seem very chummy here but apparently they had a falling out. Norma Sutcliffe came out with a youtube video claiming the farm house is not haunted and that the events in the movie are totally false, including the history of Bathsheba. I wonder what's really going on here.
hard to tell.. could truth shes spouting.. or could just be the work of a jealous person who isn't receiving a dime from the movie ;)
Yea in the owners video you can tell that she is uber bitter
listen to watch she is saying while being interviewed , she is not saying this house is haunted at all and on her own research she found out that what this family is saying is a crock of shite , no bitterness on the owners part just lies from the charlatans and the movie studio not keeping the location anonymous and tricking her into this video interview saying it wouldn't be used as an advert for the movie , the owner asked for this very interview to be taken down , but the money grabbing liar andrea perron put it back up , no shame where money is concerned and the real truth will never matter , the perron family are liars for money pure and simple
Samantha Cass
If you listen to the video that Norma made you will fully understand why.
I cannot post the link to that video here because TH-cam will block it, but if
you send me a private request I will gladly send you the link to it.
Believe me when I say that the only people creating "bad karma"
by their actions here are Andrea and Carolyn Perron.
You knew about this story before most of us!? I'm disappointed in myself....but you..are..my..hero. Now, about turning back time..
Man, it is so tedious scrolling through the comments and just seeing "Did you see that orb! Did you hear that noise! I saw faces in the fireplace/orbs/everything."
No you didn't, you've gone looking for the first sight of anything you can construe as paranormal because you're watching a video about an alleged haunting.
TopDog69 MAYBE YOU ARE JUST NOT INTUITIVE ENOUGH?.....I HAVE SEEN MANY THINGS,,,,,,JUST WAIT TIL IT HAPPENS TO YOU TOO
Amy Jenkins Or maybe you're just talking nonsense? And it won't happen.
Maybe turn the caps lock off too.
Amy Jenkins You didn't piss me off though so that little venture was a bit of a failure for you, I am so sorry that that had to happen to you.
In any case, I didn't read past that first sentence, have a good day!
HAD ANY BAD LUCK LATELY?
Amy Jenkins Nope, cheers. On the contrary in fact, thanks for asking.
Could listen to Andreas voice all day
The house and the land is beautiful!
Thanks!
Fred
If you go into a house and you hear "Get out!"..you get the fuck out.
Feets don’t fail me now! 🏃🏽♀️➡️
I just came from the movie The Conjouring. That movie rocks.I highly believe we all leave our spiritual energy behind at the places we live.
Something flew through the frame at :56 or :57 in the video
yeah... dust
Who on earth would bring their kids there for daycare?!
I really like Andrea Perron. She seems like a person you could talk with for hours. I've never seen "The Conjuring"... It looks too scary, but after I hear about her books I think I'll read them.
Scott Sizer Watch the movie and stop being a baby. It's really scary!
No way...Im not watching that. You can't "unknown" shit once you've seen it.
***** My mother is dead, so can I borrow your mother's hand, you spelling Nazi?
Scott Sizer Nah, just learn the correct phrase instead.
Watch it!! It's sooooo scary but it's good!! Scared me shitless
Money can do ugly things to people.
Awesome video! I really enjoyed this. This lady and house was on the Ghost Hunters series which was really good. Thanks can't wait to read the books.
did someone could hear at 37:00 a strange sound...
I’ll listen w headphones later
What's weird is this woman has come out to say the complete opposite and that the house is not haunted. I think she only did that to squelch all the people coming by.
My cat is a medium who channels the spirits of dead dogs.
Seems like a lovely place
THIS IS SO VERY UNREAL! I THINK I BELIEVE HER!! I MUST BE GOING CRAZY!!
Is this the same broad bashing the persons now calling them liars?
Yes..I've just watched the whole documentary with Norma denying everything..very odd indeed
Hey...
Mary Lopez Yep that's her the new owner
Exactly what i was about to say. Are we sure it's the same lady? Cuz she was nice here but a total bitch when the movie came out
