- In this video, I take you through my whole day at Princeton! This semester, I’m on campus, and although things aren’t back to normal yet, it feels great to be here rather than at home. All my classes are virtual but lots of aspects of Princeton’s campus are open such as the libraries, gym, center for the arts, and dining halls!

It amazes me how similar this day was compared to how I remember my freshman year at Yale 57 years ago. The images match almost exactly my dorm room, my view out my dorm window, my dorm hallway, my dorm bathroom, my dorm stairs, including the degree of wear on them, my college buildings, my snow. I studied about the same way, replace Trustees reading room with a more old school Linonia and Brothers reading room, but very close. A nostalgic rush is shooting down the back of my neck. I give it five stars.

I saw a video where there was a "Yes!" in the sidewalk. Do you know why? Are they all over the campus?
@@Jen-nh7yw The "Yes!," which to the best of my knowledge appears in only one place in the sidewalk, is a tribute to the late Fred Hargadon, Princeton's dean of admissions from 1988 to 2003. The acceptance letter of every admitted student had "Yes!" as a header and was personally signed by Dean Hargadon, who supposedly knew and remembered all the details of every admitted student's application.

I'm having an interview for Princeton soon, so this has helped me a lot to connect with the college and be motivated about it!! It seems really beautiful!

I'm a junior in high school and don't plan to apply to any ivy league universities but this was still very motivating to watch. Now the 4+ assignments I need to do today don't seem so daunting. 😎✌️
Some ivies don’t even rank that high. Unlike non ivies Stanford, Duke, MIT. The ivies are a sports league.
@@samank8628 I understand that, but they are still generally more selective than the average university which is why I included them as an example.

There are entire lesson plans using dungeons and dragons, unfortunately my students this year too young to do this with. Definitely do it though!

i use the app Notability! it allows me to import the pdf document of the slides and then take notes on it
