I love these British documentaries. They're the ones that invented concentration camps in the Boar Wars in the 1890's. We have to face the truth FDR, desparetly tried to involve the USA in a European war against Germany from 1937 on. After he succeeded in doing that he personally made the war much worse and longer lasting then it could have or should have been. This isn't difficult to see. AFTER Stalingrad, when FDR was sure that the Allies would eventually win (and only then) he proclaimed that only "unconditional surrender" would be acceptable to the Allies. When Germany had the upper hand in the war, the first 2.5 years of the war, they offered very easy peace terms to the UK and the USA. All they asked for was an end to the fighting Alfred Lloyd George, the PM of Great Britain in WW1 said that none of the made up countries in central Europe (created at Versailles) was worth another European war. Britain declared war over Danzig, a german city given to one of those created countries at Versailles. Was it worth 60+ million dead to have a german city be part of Poland? I don't think so. WW2 only helped the USA and the Soviet Union. It was the great unnecessary war that was essentially fought to get the USA out of the Depression and to make money.

If you make a documentary, you should do it properly; the title on TH-cam "The German Army Surrendered in Stalingrad | Colorized World War II" is a blatant mistake, as it shows SS troops in the Warsaw Ghetto and not in Stalingrad.

And it would be nice if you had script readers who understood English. Here's one problem, that of emphasis: When you say "The HIGHLY trained officers surrendered," what you are also saying is that there were a lot of barely trained officers who didn't surrender. To avoid this very clear implication, you need to read "the highly trained officers" in an even tone, conveying the meaning that all the officers who surrendered were highly trained. Get it? You need readers who understand this sort of thing from childhood, though. I.e. native English speakers, or literate adults.
