This video is incredibly informative and well-explained. Clear delivery and this practical example makes it a valuable educational resource for anyone looking to expand their knowledge in creating macros using AI for SolidWorks. Hope to see this method used in Catia as well.

Çok güzel gerçekten teşekkürler. Epeydir ben de bunun üzerine uğraşıyorum. Hatta bir kaç basit makro yazdırabildim. ChatGPT SolidWORKS macro serisi gelirse müthiş olur.

My experience with ChatGPT is that it just makes up properties/members of an interface without actually referencing the API help file to determine if those commands are even available. Seems to work for basic outlining of how to solve a problem, but requires a lot of tweaking to get a functional macro.

Absolutely I agree. I explained it in detail in the next video. I recommend watching it too.

@@NonCADKeys Maybe one day it will spit out complex macro's that are fully functional. I love using macro's to simplify multistep processes or even just make something one click instead of finding a command buried in several submenu's.

If you give the correct promts to ChatGPT and use the API help document, I think you will do a good job. If you like dealing with these things, you should give it a try. Maybe Google Bard can also be tried for a macro. I'll give it a try if I find time. Remember, asking for the right thing with the right text is the most important thing.

Don't forget to share with me if you come up with some good macros. We can post it here. 😉

The video was created without any interruptions. So you can see it working. I would recommend adding the appropriate references for office in VBA. I just shared the codes in the description. You can test using those codes.
