I absolutely adore Eddie as a comedian, and to see him complete this series of marathons is just the icing on the cake, so to speak. Not to belittle his achievements, but I can't help wondering if lack of running history is an advantage. Runners I know personally, and myself, we all have ongoing problems in the knees or ankles. I had "shin-splints" for six months once (ouch!). So to be a 47-year-old with no history of running, is that Eddie's secret strength....? What an incredible guy.
@@unscentednapalm8547 Calm down, the comment was made 12 years ago. Suzy was fine with Eddie/he/him then - as she is still today, by the way. Watch her recent interviews, she is much more relaxed about her trans identity than you seem to be. I have a trans kid and several trans pupils so I know the struggle first hand. When we as a community help others with their adjustment to this (for them) new concept, we will generate much needed support instead of alienating them through name-calling.
