Hmm, all these things are your perspective on the Hmong population, mostly a few, not the norm. Don’t group ALL the Hmong. If a man judge his strength on his manhood, then that man is weak.
I’m proud to be a Hmong woman. I think we have every opportunity as any other women. There are other more suppressed women from different cultures, but the strong minded woman will never let any men or culture dictate their lives.
Change your thinking to improve yourself and your clients. We are currently in the year 2023, things are different now!

I want to clarify about erectile dysfunction; I do see that in the Hmong Community, this is such a big issue; this happened because Hmong Men do not love themselves. Hmong Men need to understand and accept the truth, as we Men grow older we lost the nutrition that is needed for erection; in this case we need to take daily Vitamins supplements to help us, we need to opens our eyes to the outside world, other Mens are in a sport hobby for a reason, we need to be active to stay active. As Men we need Vitamins D, E, B9, B12, Zinc, Dheah Dehyroepiandrosterone supplements to help us; As Hmong Men Need to stop being stubborn. We need to look at the Women, they love themselves in order for them to stay strong and active; they take Collagen, used makeup and anything that it takes; Us Hmong Men, what do we do to help us, nothing, yes Nothing, all we do is just drink more alcohol, so this is why this issue happened.

Everyone is different. You should only speak for yourself and your wife. I don't like stories where the person thinks he/she knows everything and starts to lecture that men are like this and women are like that. Everyone is different. No only that but people changes their mind and their feelings all the time... like the saying, "Seasons change, feelings change, people change". Today he/she can't live without you, tomorrow he/she don't want to live with you... that's why there are so many ex-girlfriends/boyfriends and ex-husbands/wives. As for "zog". Nah, men are stronger. That is exactly what was on my mind. Disclosing confidentiality is prohibited by law with all professional jobs. Either that or he is only trying to be cocky and conceited to brag about what he does. Or maybe he just pretended to be someone just to address this matter using our great storyteller to speak on maybe because we don't have enough topic regarding this matter. After this profession and losing trust, he should just change career. But at the same time, listening to this story, it is very good to be wise and considerate of others. It teaches you to learn how to balance and be patient. Thank you

This guy needs his own therapist. And is violating confidentiality and ethics laws. How can you let your wife listen in to your therapy session with a patient? If I was your patient, I will sue you.

Hmmm, a few things that hit the nerves:
1. "Woman is like a cow" - give them grass and that's all they need: not too far from the real value of traditional Hmong women, but I think this is a new low.(coming a supposedly educated man)
2. Women has "soft heart" so are dumb and stupid and that's why they are taken advantage of: How he came to this is beyond me.
3. Love your wife when you are old.(really meaning when you can't "do it" anymore, then you're going need your slave again): How about "Love your Wife at all Times". A masters degree and can't even see this.
4. (he got this one right, but it's really trivial) Women is better then men in bed: But all I hear is envy this and envy that; short coming this and short coming that; nothing concrete about how to understand men and women.
Brother, you are too generalized. As a mental health professional, you should know that you can't generalize people. Each person is different, each marriage is different.
