My takeaways from Mizzou vs. Vandy. From the biggest Mizzou fan. Mizzzou is not firing like last year. If they dont get it together, they are in big trouble. Vandy is better than I ever expected. They are gonna give several teams a ball game this year.
I think Kentucky may be playing the wrong QB for the team they have. Wilcox is basically a run-first guy who can pass pretty well, too, as we learned against Ohio, so he's literally built to take the punishment Kentucky QBs are getting.

Fine with the list. I think A&M should go behind Arky and OU. OU would be really good if they had an offense. How times have changed. I think Tennessee looks a little more realistic. Great team but playing really bad teams does not give one a good clue to exactly how good a team is. Ole Miss is still a ? Great team but what can they really do against great competition? Texas is great. Great Saturday but it was shown why Ewers is the starter and why they are better with him as QB right now. The next 4 weeks or so at least should really be amazing. It should clear up a lot of questions.

Not sure on 6. More around 8-9. Pull off an upset in 2 weeks or win 2 of the following 3 (@Alabama, @Oklahoma, TAMU) and then a top 6 is reasonable. At the game, offense almost looked better at times with Beville. I mean the backups went got it to 50. Defense let off the gas. We quit playing man. Akron shouldn't have scored. The fumble at the end of the house was ridiculous. Shouldn't be talking about a bad center snap. Should be a field goal at worse and probably a touchdown. We left at minimum 24 points out there. Easily a 75 pt game if you quit with stupid penalties and clean up the BS. The pass defense is going to keep up in most every game, but if the other parts of the defense and the offense don't improve we'll struggle to get six wins and get bowl eligible. Could be a team that vastly overachieves and pulls off multiple upsets or just keep putterint away opportunities. I'm a life long fan and these kinds of seasons wear me down the most. Seeing all that talent wasted with a 5-7 record again would be devastating.

I dont understand why Kentucky gets their oline bashed so much, they do struggle in pass protection, but they do not in the run game. They are actually fairly good in the run game. And Mike is smoking that sh again if he thinks Kentucky is the 13th best team in the SEC. Id take Kentucky on a neutral field over Florida, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Mississippi State, Arkansas, all day. I think they are improving on the offensive side, they have shown they can run the ball against anyone, and once Chip Traynum returns i think their pass protection can get a little better. They have one of the best defenses in the league, and can run the ball on Anybody.. i think they give ole Miss a good game next week.
