I made a database have 5 people using, I have it split and a front copy on each desktop of the users but still get this admin lock when 2-3 are using it at same time ... any help would be appreciated

What worked for me was clicking on a table and opening it, then saving the whole database. Then, in file explorer there it was, saved!

How would you this on a Mac but I was working on the database on a school computer.
The Mac is my personal computer

MS ACCESS 2019 Error Message : The table is already in use exclusively by another user or it is already open thru the user interface & can't be manipulated programmatically.
That doesn't make sense. I am a single user and not attached to a network and get this message often.

The problem is that the file is on a shared drive, which is stored on a Windows server. The server is locking the file, and makes it unavailable to you. The Windows server administrator can correct registry setting to make sure locking happens differently. If you save your file on the C: drive and not a network drive, you won't see the error.
