BTS EP 3 Vizag,- Bheemili Beach, Andhra food at Raju ka Dhaba, Rushikonda Beach, Andhra Pradesh

- In this video you will see our Journey Visiting to some famous tourist places near visakhapatnam such as- Bheemili Beach, Rushikonda Beach, Thotlakonda Buddhist monastery ruins.
We explored local breakfast, enjoyed lunch at famous Raju ka dhaba near Rushikonda Beach.
We explored famous Badam Milk and authentic spices of Andhra Pradesh in the later half of the day.
This video was shot on 8 Jan 2023.
Following are the places we visited as part of our journey of Vizag tour on 8th jan 2023.
Breakfast - Egg Dosa at a cart near MVP colony was nice start to the day.
Egg Dosa- Rs 60
Bheemili Beach -
The distance of Bheemili beach from Famous locations are:
Fishing harbor - Bheemili Beach - 31 kms
RK Beach - Bheemili Beach - 26 kms.
At Bheemili Beach we saw Gosthani river draining into the Bay of Bengal. We saw an estuary formation as well.
After Bheemili Beach we traveled to Thothlakonda where we saw the very rare scenic beauty of the Natural Arch Formation.
At Thotlakonda we also visited a 2000 years old Buddhist site which was discovered by the Indian Navy in Late 90’s.
We have lunch in Famous Raju ka dhaba (previously named Raju Gari Dhaba).It is famous for its delicious Biryani. It is a non veg food only restaurant.
We had Prawns Fry - Rs 210
Chicken Curry - Rs 140.
After having lunch we went to Rushikonda beach which is hardly 100m from raju ka dhaba.
At Rushikonda Beach we had a great time and we also did speed boat activity there.
Speed boat - Rs 250(Per Person)
Jet ski - Rs 400(Per Person).
After doing so much fun we went to Madras Filter Coffee which is nearby Rushikonda Beach.
Filter Coffee - Rs 30.
Finally we End our day at Sri Gruhalaxmi Home Foods by having Famous
Badam Milk - Rs 50
We also Explored some local Andhra Spices here.

Just a small thing, if included would have been more informative. As my roots are in Bheemili too.
4 things -
the mermaid you see in Bheemili beach is around 70-80 years old and first of its kind to be built in India. Built by the last British army regiment governor who worked there.
Also. Most important. Bheemili municipality is the second oldest in the country and first in the erstwhile state. It was formed in 1861. Recently 160 years was celebrated. I was present.
More history - First settlement was in 1650 by Dutch , Which is one of the oldest in India by foreign nationals. The vanda gummala meda (100 steps) complex watch tower still exists in Bheemili town.

I love vishakhapatnam. It is the only industrial city in India that is so good for travel.
Visakhapatnam is also my fav holiday destination. About 240 km from my village.

Thanks for showing my city so nicely- Bheemli town was originally called Bhimunipatnam, named after the Pandava prince Bhima, one of the central characters in the Indian epic Mahabharata. According to legend, Bhima visited the town during his exile and established a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

cleanliness in the city is amazing.
They had fair share of trash on the beaches and everything, but had to clean up and give the city a makeover because of the most recent global summit and the next one at the end of this month!!!
@@theofficialcybermonkeys1271These videos were shot in January. The summit happened on March 3rd and 4th. I stayed in Vizag and is normally clean except very very few places.

Ashoka fought at Kalinga ( present day Odisha). Till Visakhapatnam Kalinga kingdom was spreader. Nearest district of visakhapatnam is Srikakulam which has 30% community known as Kalinga who are/were warriors. And in Srikakulam sun temple is there which is exactly same as Konark.

Nice locales, nice coverage. I visited Bheemli Beach more than thirty years ago when the Bheemli beach was quite natural and virgin without any structures and human intervention. Was thrilled to see that beach almost lonely. But today, it's entirely different view
