Thanks for the run thru. Very handy should I upgrade my ovens controls from twist knobs someday.

DIY reflow ovens get fancy GUI controllers, and boy are they easier on the brain. And with Siemens now making Arduinos...

If you gonna make a larger furnace, you gonna need that new processor, or your bricks gonna jump out of the oven. I gotsa watlow controller on mine which can be programmed on many parameters. Of course it stores all my programs too. It can be connected to a computer, and even monitored and controlled from a computer, but mins is not connected to puter.

      What model did you buy?

@@ShadonHKW It is a 945. It is older one but still works fine. If if needs replacing, likely I will replace with something similar to one in this video, but one that stores recipes, unless those cost a lot. The 480D in this video appears that It would fit my needs, just like to have recipe storage. But, it is simple to have recipes on paper and enter each time too. The 480D seems to be everything most if not all your viewers could possibly ever need, and the price is great on these. Watlow ones are like $1,200.00 and up, and certainly not needed in most cases.

These controllers only add 40.00 to the retail price. trying to keep things simple.

    Difference between 60 and 100 isn’t “roughly” 40. LOL

the oven was hovering at 64-ish ... thus the "roughly" ha ha ....
