Great vlog Jordan. In the 1990’s I won two tickets to a Frank Sinatra concert at the Greek Thester. Shirley MacLaine was his opening act. Great night & memories. I like his song “”Softly”. Very emotional words attached to it. Not many people mention that song. My husband and I lived in Blythe Ca for five years in the mid 1970’s & we went to Palm Springs a lot because my specialist Drs. were there. We eventually moved back to Glendale Ca. The desert heat was brutal. Thanks 🙏🏻 ❤️for taking us with you, Jordan. Well done.

So cool! I am an Italian born and raised in north Jersey. Need I say more? LOL! My mother saw Sinatra live at the Majestic Theater in Paterson during the 40s and had his hanky. She loved him. He surly had an interesting life. Leave it to Shelly to go toe to toe with Sinatra. She was a strong no BS woman. 😊 He Met his match there. Great vlog, Jason!

Frank Sinatra, one of the nicest man that I had ever met. At that time in 1990 I worked for a limo company in Los Angeles and was on a detail with another limo driver to go meet up at LAX. Sinatra liked Lincoln Town Cars with no black out windows. My coworker was Sinatra's personal driver, said to me, " Mr Sinatra wants to talk with you." I did not know what to think. So I walked up to the Town car and look inside and Mr Sinatra was in the back seat with his wife and said. " Hello Richard, my wife and I will be going to dinner, and I want you to take my personal house keeper and luggage home to his Foothill address." I was shock that he knew my name and was so kind. The Beverly Hills home was just as beautiful.

I love hearing Don Rickles tells stories about the friendship he had with Frank. Loved that Shelly put aside her feelings and mended the relationship to be there for Frank in that difficult time. Very cool!
    Thanks Jordan!

This was fabulous Jordan - Thank you so much for doing it! I have been a huge fan of Frank's (warts and all) all my life. I think I own a copy of every recording he ever made and I had the pleasure of seeing him perform live twice in Las Vegas. Nobody could sell a song like Frank. He could express the emotion in the lyrics with his voice alone. There'll probably be other singers of his caliber in the future - but I'm sure it won't be in my lifetime. Thank God for recordings!

I so enjoyed this one! I loved Frank but my oldest daughter really loves him. She is a singer/entertainer/DJ and loves old time stars and movies, so I share theses vlogs with her as well as on FB. It’s so pretty in Palm Springs and so happy you took me along with you to see this beautiful place. I missed seeing Jah today, I love when you start your day with his walk. Thanks for taking me along, stay safe and well!

I am a huge Sinatra fan and still enjoy his music and love that Michael Bublé sometimes sounds a lot like Sinatra with the same high class style! Sure hope you get to tour the Sinatra house in Palm Springs that would be very special. Palm springs is such a neat place, when I lived in California I always enjoyed visiting out there. Thank you Jordan!

The stories of Frank’s generosity are almost as legendary as his occasionally volatile temper. It’s been said that when Bela Lugosi died, he was nearly destitute and his wives and son were having trouble paying for his funeral and burial. Frank apparently heard about it and stepped in to foot the bill himself, even though it’s doubtful he had ever even met Lugosi. One of the greatest of all jazz singers too. Nice video, as always…

Well, I started watching this after it had only been posted one minute before, and had one view. It was very interesting, and I love seeing the vegetation in that area. Palm trees, well, I'll never get to see one up close, but the flowers and the dryness of the desert areas are always so intriguing. I can't help but wonder how people really felt about the constant hot temps there though. THANK YOU again, Jordan...loved it.

Very interesting vlog Jordan. They don't get much bigger than Frank Sinatra. He was a complex man, who could be very cruel, and very kind also. He raised countless millions for charity, and quietly gave away vast sums to ordinary people he read about in newspapers. Many hospital bills of very ordinary folks were paid by Frank Sinatra without fuss, or publicity. His simple grave says much. He was a true showbiz legend.
