There's something about the graphics and the art-style that I absolutely love. It feels... almost like a PS1 game with Pre-rendered backgrounds if that makes any sense to anyone. the cutscenes also remind me of the Pre-rendered FMV scenes you'd get in old games. Either way, this game seems to exude the kind of charm I love in these sorts of horror games. I hope Tom and Simon play more!

Okay, so theory after just the prologue, don't tell me if I'm right wrong, or on the right track. Considering how Until Dawn went, I'm assuming that there will be a natural threat, and a supernatural threat. The natural threat, I think Simon was on the right track, I think the crates with the skull and crossbones were filled with something that emits a hallucinogenic gas. At first we just saw the guy's son, as we know he was on his mind, but this ship clearly had soldiers on it, many of whom may have PTSD, PTSD + hallucinations in a claustrophobic ship filled with soldiers is not a good sign. Considering the guy in the med-bay's fear when he first regained consciousness, and the fact that he was locked in from the inside, he probably killed the doctor(?) out of amplified fear but forgot as he still wasn't sober. It's possible that he kicked the entire thing off with the ruckus, triggering PTSD in others, setting off a chain reaction. The gas may be toxic as well after so much exposure, since many of the men didn't appear to have been bloodied in anyway, and they guy died just on his own after seeing the specter of his son. Supernatural threat, it's impossible to tell for now, but my assumption is that it will be from Chinese mythology, and have some connection with the corpses aboard the ship. I think it's also possible, but not probable, that the sailor who was sending out the distress call may have seen the supernatural threat, as he would be fairly random otherwise, but also it could be a red herring, and we did learn from the call that someone DID hear, meaning we know how the ship will be found. Again, all just speculation, don't kill me thinking I spoiled the game, this is all I've seen of it. I could be spot on or way off.
One of the theories about the ship itself was that it was carrying an unstable nerve agent that leaked, a popular theory is asphyxiation since a lot of the bodies have no actual external injuries. So when you're on an abandoned and dilapidated ship full of dead people, you're gonna start seeing and hearing things, then add a nerve agent to that and your mental state will go to shit.
