Thanks for the very helpful update. I think New Outlook is just about ok with an internet connection but there is still no way I could go without the legacy Outlook client for Windows, which works fine on or offline.
Classic: when someone needs to justify an unfinished product and poor quality, they start pulling out graphs and tables to convince others that what they've done is right. :-)
I understand from a business perspective why they are doing this. From a practical standpoint it is a poor decision. The amount of medium-large business customers that have custom addons or workflows that are integrated into classic outlook are staggering. This is a giant leap back for 10% of users and the other 90% do not care. This is not a look or feel issue this is base functionality.

More functionality is coming to offline mode in 2025. Hang in there.
