We have a project in school tomorrow. We had to create a ''remix'' of a movie by rewriting the story, then reading it to the class. I chose Duel, adding various other vehicles along David's car, and making the truck a BFI trash truck. They told us we can use music during our presentation, so I think I will use this. Thanks!
You should know, "Duel" happens to be my all-time, favourite film...and, I love this; music's perfect! (and, excellent, on its' own, also!) I, just, thought of one of my favourite life memories; hope you won't mind my sharing an autobiographical fact. My sister, who was script supervisor, on "Lonesome Dove: The Series", invited my family "to set", one day. That week's guest star was Dennis Weaver, whom, at 80 years old, did his own stunt, taking a fall, from a horse. To get back, on track, of my post, I was able to tell Mr. Weaver, that my all-time. favourite movie, is "Duel." Mr. Weaver HUGGED ME and remarked, "yeah, that was a fun 'shoot' and, that kid who directed, knew what he was doing!" That "kid", of course, was then, 21-year-old, Steven Spielberg. A lifetime memory! That, swerving wagon? That's a then-brand-new, Chevrolet Kingswood Estate.
I wonder if someone's thought of uploading duel with a different soundtrack like most of the music from Psycho 1960 and some of Ennio Morricone's other pieces of western soundtracks, that would definitely be nice to hear.
