It's based on the 26/11 Taj hotel terrorist attacks and when I realized that while watching the video , I broke down , because i still remember the day when as a child i was sitting in front of the TV seeing all the videos from the attacked location and I started to cry after listening to ppl scream and seeing the graphics , my mom had to switch of the TV to make stop crying. If me as a person sitting miles away from the actual location felt it , I can't even imagine what the people who experienced and saw it up close would've gone through.
Did anyone noticed Max's expression after @20:30 , something came to her mind. Maybe something related to car accident . Someone close to her...🤔 she almost cried 😭

This plot is so beautiful ❤. It is one of the best short film on 26/11 tragic attack with full 180° twist at the end moments. Also try to react TVF's Kota Factory if there is no permission issues.
Of course there were the sounds..just not the ones we usually look out for.The whistling of the pressure cooker, the ticking of the clock at the end, the beeping of the microwave, the clinking of the cutlery against the plates..were all very interesting use of sound leading up to the climax and highlighting and engaging us through the conversation. The filming of the conversation would have been totally bland without those little sounds. But again the very absence of using sound as in music, is a very powerful tool in the art of film making as is beautifully portrayed in this short film.
Another great subtle thing I liked about this film which I realized after watching this reaction is how we get so invested in the dialogues of their dysfunctional relationship thinking that is where the conflict is and that's going to drive the story, until we realize they're all dead, and none of that conflict matters to us any more. And it's so similar to when someone dies in real life; every problem, grudge and anger we held against that person, all start feeling null and void.

Jaby Koay, do you know why they insert the credits in the climax scenes-to heighten the emotion for viewers not directly connected to the tragedy, to decrease or break the intensity of the tragedy for the ones directly connected to it and also to force the viewer to pay attention to what is being conveyed. As for the on the nose conversations seen in movies especially in the south is because people do talk about whatever is on their minds without holding it all in and letting the listener or audience know what they want or think without waiting for the figuring out bit especially if there isn't enough time to get the point across. Lovely reactions... I loved this n the film totally... It literally breaks ur heart into two or a zillion pieces as they get into the climax of the short film 🙏❤️😍💟
