Parker 2520 XLD Running Back From Pamlico Sound

After a day of fishing, Vicky is running the boat back home from the Pamlico Sound. She has been running boats for 40+ years; since she was a teenager (she was a teenager when we got married in 1975!) She is also a very good line handler when docking.

Does your Parker Pilot House cruise a little bow high. I’ve wondered about this with PH boats, or just the PH configuration it appears to be running nose high. I did hear u say Vicky is short.

Hi Mike, I thought I had notification when someone commented; sorry for the late response, as I just came across this.... Yes, Vicky is short! ☺ And I run the boat slightly bow-high intentionally; the less wetted-surface, the faster the speed at a given rpm... I often run with the bow lower by adjusting the engine trim; I only use the trim-tabs to balance port-to-starboard...
