Thanks for sharing your findings. On my iPhone, I use 4 home screens which I think are optimal for me. You use just 2. But my main concern is conformity over my family of devices. For example Safari bookmarks are not shared between devices.
I’m currently devising business KPIs which I would like to show on one of the home screens. So Home Screen 1 = outside influences, 2 = frequently-used apps, 3 = KPIs and 4 = app search

Thanks for sharing!! I like that approach. This all comes down to organizing things in a way that makes sense to the user. In your case, you've obviously thought through what structure works best for the way you use your iPhone. I think that's fantastic. Thanks so much for watching!

This is actually a fantastic idea! I didn’t really take advantage of stacking because I’m not really a fan of messing with it. But now I’m thinking about giving it a try. Thanks a bunch for this suggestion! 🤙🏼

    Hi Rich!
You are the most organized person on TH-cam! I like the way you clean up your iPhone screen and customize it to your needs. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Btw I follow “Ellen’s Tips for iOS” too. She just put up a video on how to customize the updated photos app. You might be interested in her video. Maybe you’ll make a video of your own. Kindness, Teresa

Ha! Thanks for the kind comment. I am a sucker for organization stuff. Ellen's Tips channel is a great channel! I've not met her but our paths have crossed on X. Hope you and your family are doing well.

Good evening, question, I was able to set my photo views from the seven it sets it too to view 5 which makes it where I can actually see my photos on what it use to be called the cameras roll and I can now see them without having to look at each one and pinching it to look bigger. The problem is I can’t remember how I did that and where to go to do it again. I have not done the update cause I’m afraid it will go back to the seven. Can you help?

Wow what a great idea! I have both widgets and stacks but never thought of this usage
I am now going to clean up my Home Screen(s) and use this great idea
    Thanks Rich

Rich thanks for the insight into widgets. I've been an iPhone user since the first one. My muscle memory allows me to be very quick with usage. I get your home screen cleanup and widget stack idea (s). I currently deliver part-time gigs so my needs are vastly different than traveling 45 weeks per year globally. I am certainly happy about minimal travel. Happy days to you. Steve

Use your other hand finger to swipe screens when you are moving apps… Its wayyyyy better than holding on edge and hoping it skips over.. you’re welcome😊

In addition to a super useful tip, what an amazing video, big Thank You for making a human video with normal pace and calm instructions.
The way videos and shorts these days are bombarding overwhelming information, I am not able to follow or retain anything from those. Requested a few popular ones to stop adding to the ADHD of this generation, but may be it is a new trend of making people watch again and again.
PS: Clarifying that I am in my 30s just in case my comment looks like I am a 60 yr old grumpy who can't keep up with times :). Shorts and Reels must be destroying the mental health of the society.

Widgets are the most efficient method for customizing the iPhone and iPad.

Yes. I agree. And I'm always fooling around with them. But this method might stick with me for a while. Thanks so much for watching!

That's why I use markers so you can jump around the video. That way you can skip any part you don't want to watch!
