Dawntrail is probably always going to draw negative comparisons to Endwalker and Shadowbringers because those were the conclusion to a decade-long story and had multiple expansions upon which they could build. Dawntrail is intended to act as the bridge and start to a new story arc. Comparisons on Dawntrail right now is like reading a great book (the Ascian arc), picking up its sequel and then trying to make up your mind about it after reading only the first chapter.
