Oh that’s so good to hear a review! I don’t know anyone that’s done it, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for ages! Merry Christmas and thank you for watching and supporting the vlogs 🥰 xx
The other gideons was actually not bad at all! It was busy the day we went ( Saturday afternoon) but still the wait was like 10 mins. And at that location you can pre order and there is no limit on the number of cookies you can pre order!
Question - we always stay off site but would love try onsite. But I’ve been reading the buses can take 20/25 minutes to get to the parks. Where as we stay in lake buena vista and we get there in less and the cars right next to the apartment. Also not sure I could cope in one room for 2 weeks. What’s your verdict on offsite vs on-site? Thanks xx
So I’m probably not the best person to ask about transport onsite. I’ve only stayed onsite twice and each time we had a car, so we never used the buses. At Caribbean beach, we used the skyliner which is continuous except in storms. I would say if all of you in a room would be an issue, then I wouldn’t bother, unless you got the connecting rooms so you had a little more space? Also remember if you do stay on site and still want a car, parking is free. So you could still have your car! We loved being on site, it was nice being closer. but we also love off site, and unless your staying at one of the deluxe resorts, I think staying off site is better value for money! Xx
Just returned from our umpteenth trip in Dec 23 and I have to say that Disney is now so expensive for what you get, I can’t see us going again unless things change. You have to spend most of day on smart phone which is ridiculous and slowly slowly the perks are diminishing and prices increasing. Universal on the other hand seem to have it right. It’s a shame but I think these vlogs need to be a bit more informative about how difficult it is to plan and experience a day in a Disney park! Just my thoughts but there seem to be a lot of TH-camrs saying similar things.
These vlogs are based on our experience though and as I mentioned we didn’t always use genie plus, we used it two times on our trip, so I didn’t find I was on my phone that much! And personally I don’t find it difficult to plan a Disney park day, don’t get me wrong I hate the park hop and park reservation system. But I didn’t find that difficult to navigate, and come next month those things are being scrapped, so it’s not something people will have to worry about anymore!
I've really enjoyed your Disney series .. again.

Hey, can I ask how long the queue is at the other Gideon’s. Is it as mad or a little quieter? Thanks 😃
