Price of the amp? didn't promote your website? didn't show the guts have no idea anything really about your amp and one thing I know about your amp is it wont take dulal inputs and you don't have Tiffany style inputs .no clip indicator that's all I got for this video. Im sorry thos seems like a great amp but he didnt do you justice. This is just my opinion as nut huggers will say they got everything. Only difference is im real. My issue with it is, no clip indicator light on the knob. I play from various sources and push my amps and subs to the very limit. That clip light has saved my ass from blowing subs on like several occasions. They need to improve that knob so it has clip indicators or I and probably a lot of other folks wouldnt touch it.

If you're wondering why so many high quality electronics come out of Brazil it's because they have a 40% tax on all electronics that are imported into the country. Brazil is underrated in my opinion in terms of its engineering prowess.

I'm gonna change one build I was doing and I know where I'm going to get it from. I've ordered from every other site before in the past till I found out about him. Never even had to call customer service. Now don't get me wrong I'm not trying to put any of the other places down. I've purchased from them before. But pricing 99% of the time wins.
I would like to see the 8 15's isobaric configuration. That would allow you to have 8 in a box the size for 2. Front to back or face-to-face. Your build you decide. I'm curious what the difference in SPL would be. It should be within 6 db on paper but that's not real world.
15's more of a common everyday sub compared to 18's. But have to have more power and subs to compete with 18's. If you wanted to start testing different subs out 15's or 18's would be great. Right now I'm deciding to put 15's or 18's in my truck.

So it looks like NVX has come out with a version 3 of their VCW. You tested the version 1 I believe 4 years ago. This one is carbon fiber! I would love to see that sub revisited as well as the audiopipe bdc4. I think you had a smaller amp back then when you were testing those. I'm curious what they could handle on an amp with some real power

Parker, I believe this is a Sound Digital Clone, Brazilin Clone not Chinese which is very good however just a few things to take note about these amps, they are finnicky....They don't like the RCA input voltage to be above 1v or protect, they definitely don't like any clipping, like not even light clipping or protect, & if you are running higher voltage like 15v -16v the remote voltage should be the same or protect....And lastly never wire below the 1ohm or they will blow... Now these issues are defiantly more prevalent on the "Chinese Clones" I'm not so sure about the brazilin types, but just a heads up brother.

Lame, skar is weak. Go better. For the money you can get just as beastly of subs or more so from better brands. Do Def Bonce, PSI, Sundown, Incriminator. There are a few others that can actually take 3k a piece all day and not self destruct. I'm also really disappointed in skar as they have tried to go to a direct to consumer business style because they got too greedy and want all the money for themselves. That and it makes it so they can always and I mean always refuse any warranty work now as it will always be your fault somehow claiming improper install or overpowered or severely clipped. Skar sucks.

If you're doing 4 15's then you have to go Deaf Bonce or Trinity Audio buttt if budget is of no concern then Sundown is releasing the new NSV6 within the next 8-9mos or so and it is going to be the nastiest nightshade version yet! Hell two of those 18's would destroy any vehicle they're mounted in and they'd eat as much power as you want a throw at em as long as you come over to half bridge-darkside and give them clean power! 🤷♂️
I think I this day n age there's no excuse to not have a clip indicator, that's a 100% a deal breaker for me especially where even some cheap amps have them at least on the amp so I obviously doesn't cost the manufacturer squat. They are such a valuable sub saving tool if your the kind of person who trys to get every last available watt to your subs. I turn up the knob it blinks I back it off until it doesn't. If I keep it just under clip I can thump full chooch for awhile if that light is blinking my subs get stinky fast.... Clip on top of a 5k amp creates heat FAST.
@@ParkerTheBasshead well you can mount the amp on your dash so can watch it! Lol, there is a way to fix the problem and only take some basic soldering skills which is if there's one on the amp open it up (and likely void the warranty)and solder 2 small wires to the on amp clip bulb terminals and run the wire up front and hook it to an LED bulb, kinda of a hack but it would work, if your real knowledgeable you could use a clip light remote and tap into those wires but that's above my head an electronics guy could do it no sweat. Or could insist on a bass knob with a clip light. All amp should have that. The taramps only indicator box to me is fine I would likely run an inline bass knob anyway so wouldn't matter, my old pioneer amps knob was bass boost not remote gain knob so I installed a inline and installed both knobs in dash so had both that was sweet on rock music I could boost the bass some easily at arms reach.
@@95Sn95 an oscilliscope is better than a dummy light. Also, If you set the gains with 0db overlap you never have to worry about that. Relays are really hard on the head unit, I'd wire it to to the fuse panel somewhere that only has power with the key on.

It's probably the same circuit board as the SFB 13.500.1. The bass knob from that would probably work as well. Good luck with it!

How about them 21 or 24 inch Series 12K NEOs? or a couple 33s cut off @50-40hz in an iso to make 18s look like tweeters

You could build a nice 4th order with 2 18s or 4 15s 6-8 12s etc and still keep the back seat
Flip the dual inputs. 1 side is thinner than the other. Had same problem with cab45 flipped solved

Only have 2 Skar 12” EVL with a Taramps Smart 3 at the moment so it might be overkill but the Smart 3 doesn’t cover the peak of the 2 EVL’s

They are such a valuable sub saving tool if your the kind of person who trys to get every last available watt to your subs. I turn up the knob it blinks I back it off until it doesn't. If I keep it just under clip I can thump full chooch for awhile if that light is blinking my subs get stinky fast.... Clip on top of a 5k amp creates heat FAST.
Yeah this amp has one on the amp but I do miss not having one I can run up front to monitor
@@ParkerTheBasshead well you can mount the amp on your dash so can watch it! Lol, there is a way to fix the problem and only take some basic soldering skills which is if there's one on the amp open it up (and likely void the warranty)and solder 2 small wires to the on amp clip bulb terminals and run the wire up front and hook it to an LED bulb, kinda of a hack but it would work, if your real knowledgeable you could use a clip light remote and tap into those wires but that's above my head an electronics guy could do it no sweat. Or could insist on a bass knob with a clip light. All amp should have that. The taramps only indicator box to me is fine I would likely run an inline bass knob anyway so wouldn't matter, my old pioneer amps knob was bass boost not remote gain knob so I installed a inline and installed both knobs in dash so had both that was sweet on rock music I could boost the bass some easily at arms reach.
@@95Sn95 an oscilliscope is better than a dummy light. Also, If you set the gains with 0db overlap you never have to worry about that. Relays are really hard on the head unit, I'd wire it to to the fuse panel somewhere that only has power with the key on.
