That`s the best price I`ve seen for a flight between ADL and SYD. I`ve heard talk that Virgin is expected do do away with complimentary food and beverages altogether in economy. Thanks as always for posting Jayden!
It's ok if they make tickets cheaper like they did on this one. I flew Jetstar back and it was only $8 cheaper. Qantas was out of the league😂 thanks Pierre!!

thanks for watching! Prices now are very volatile, sometimes I might book an expensive one then a cheap one comes up, thankfully it's free to cancel, and I rebook haha
Good point. I have wondered two things about winglets - one is the reason for each specific design (sharklets vs. winglets vs. whatever else aircraft manufacturers have come up with), the other is the specific design principle through which they reduce drag, thereby saving fuel. Comments anyone?

Great video, Jayden! I'm glad the service was so good. I was really impressed with how responsive the video app was. That is so nice. When I've used it in the US, it is much more sluggish. @@JaydenWong NZ people are coming in I think the next few steps will be unlocking the internal borders. Then flights to NZ . Then the pacific islands . Then places such as South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore.
Super comfortable and definitely a lovely crew onboard. It’s good they offer wifi when it wants to work with a little entertainment. VA does look comfortable but surely now they can offer a little more service or is this Bain that’s using COVID as an excuse, as Australia has excelled with infection rates and there’s no problem in selling the middle seat? Thanks so much for sharing as always! 👌
yep something to do with Bain, but they're not using COVID as an excuse (yet). They haven't fully taken Virgin over so they current don't have contracts with catering (lounges and onboard) and many other things!! thanks for watching! :)
Thank you for the video! Yes, I agree with you. Introducing the name of the crew members one by one really adds more personal touch to the experience. But the meal on board was a bit far from being satisfactory. Enjoy your weekend and take some good rest after this busy week! I look forward to your new video next Thursday!
Ugh awful news today! VA will ditch all free snacks and drinks :/ Business will see full meals once everything is settled. Thanks Man Shan, take care :)
That descent into Sydney probably upset the eardrums of the babies. I know coming into land at Gold Coast airport, I end up with a massive earache that lasts for several days....but not when I land into Melbourne. Those winglets do look good. Was it my imagination, or did they seem to "flap" more during takeoff ? A pity about the food, especially level of food/ drink service for business class. I watched a vlog earlier today of an Air Canada domestic flight. Business class still get a full meal...just cold and pre-packed for covid-19 hygiene. I know Virgin is struggling, but I hope it gets better soon. Also I thought it was totally hilarious that you referred to Jetstar to as a Carrot ! 😂
Yep, it hurts more if they weren't sitting up right or were sleeping. I'm no expert in this but I think the imbalances of air pressure causes the pain. When I flew with my nephew I always made sure he was awake for the takeoff and landing and he never cried. The new winglets were designed to reduce fuel consumption and reduce drag, so while the winglets are taking the pressure (turbulence, drag etc.) it might look like it's flapping to offset the movement in the fuselage. Thanks for watching Heather! P.s. I flew that carrot back to Adelaide two days later!
When did we get the scimitar winglets? I always remember a 747-400 flying in with one winglet missing. The forces at play out on the wing amaze me. Plus it's pretty cold. Cheers.
since August 2019 :) Those 737s were mainly deployed on longer distance like Fiji, New Zealand, Bali and the Pacific Islands to save more fuel. But since they don't fly domestic now, we see them flying within Australia :D
