    That was a good haul! I enjoyed your decision-making process. Looks like a very chic brand. Glad you’re keeping the plaid, patterned shorts & jacket set. Love the idea of wearing the set for fall. The “Robe Bella” or blue eyelit dress is lovely, but was definitely giving “Ma Ingalls” from Little House on the Prairie…just a bit. LOL. However, I, too, was also thinking with simply trying a different belt, it could really be an amazing look. I was also thinking of adding a great pair of leather boots to that look. I’m very much an accessories girl so a scarf or shawl might also look great with that chambray blue. Again, thanks for the fun haul. And I also really love fancy packaging.😉🥰

      Yeah. A different belt. And I was thinking leather boots too. I’m going to try some things and see if anything works before I return it.

    For fall/winter you can also unbutton the dress at the bottom up to just above the knee and wear knee high leather boots. Unbutton the 2 buttons at the collar and add a neck scarf for a pop of color.

      Yep. Definitely think this is a good leather boot look.

    Love the short suit on you! It looks like you. The blue dress is pretty. I would do a different belt and consider going to a tailor and making it shorter to suit your height and your style, which I love by the way!😘

    • @adrielfelise
      @adrielfelise  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. It definitely needs to be shortened - it’s so long. I’m going to try styling it a couple different ways to see if I like it more. It’s so heavy I feel like it would be great for fall!

    You look great on short set. I also like the pants size 36 as they look more elegant when not too tight. They also remind me of the hippy days. The blue dress, the fabrics is beautiful but you look like a grandma in it. It seems too heavy, long and not too comfortable. Thanks for sharing.

    • @adrielfelise
      @adrielfelise  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 36 look elegant but the gap in the back was annoying. I really hate when that happens with pants. The fabric is excellent and the pattern is so fun - I keep wanting to buy something in the pattern but every time I do, it overwhelms me. Womp womp.

    I love the short set! You can of course wear it without the jacket in summer. I like the blue eyelet dress, but it doesn’t fit properly. Either buy a smaller size, or have the top tailored. Add a wide leather waist cinching belt.

    • @adrielfelise
      @adrielfelise  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah. The blue eyelet dress is giving me the struggles. I kind of want to conquer it. Hahaha

    I think the problem with the blue dress is the color. That said, I would love to see what a different belt would do to break up the color a bit. I love blue, but that’s a funny shade and when I compare some of the other dresses you’ve worn, this one doesn’t do you justice, in my opinion. But I’m sure you can make it work somehow. Thanks for sharing the haul!

      I’m thinking maybe a beige belt and some beige heels and a straw bag or something. I can make it chic little house on the prairie. It’s a very different look for me.

      Usually when I’m trying to convince myself about something I end up never wearing it. You have so many more beautiful dresses that look gorgeous on you.

    That short set looks adorable on you and you should definitely keep it. Leaving for Paris this Monday and thanks for reminding me that I need to shop at Suzanne. I don't have access to one here in my neck of the woods (Florida) and I love their website so certainly will check it out. Also do you have any experience with repetto shoes? The Bridget Bardot in me has always wanted a pair but not sure if they're worth the price and how their sizing runs. Love to watch your try-ons. So happy I found your channel.

      Okay I love a lot to say on repetto. When I get home, I’m going to type up a full response for you. I will say that I love them but there is one thing that bothers me.

    • @adrielfelise
      @adrielfelise  ปีที่แล้ว

      Bonsoir. Okay. With respect to the Repettos, these are my favorite ballet flats. I like them a lot. They have good support and they’re durable (ie you can wear them in the rain). The one thing is that my little toe rubs on the inside so I have to wear bandaids with them. Also, while I think they’re comfortable for commuting (that’s how I used to use them in the US) they’ve never been comfortable enough for me to walk around a full long day of Paris. Now that may be because I have poor circulation in my legs and my feet swell at the end of the day which makes the little toe rubbing worse, but I will definitely say they’re durable AND they’re good for probably normal US walking. With that said, I have friends who disagree and find their repettos to be the most comfortable shoes in the world. So I guess it depends on your foot. I have the classic cendrillon in multiple colors.

      @@adrielfelise thank you for being so thorough. One last question about repettos - do they run true to size? This may be my Parisian splurge. Usually I cram lots of food items into my suitcase but it might be a pair of shoes instead this time.

    • @adrielfelise
      @adrielfelise  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. They do run true to size. I normally wear a size 36 (which I guess is a U.S. size 6 or maybe a US size 5.5) and that’s what I wear in Repetto too.

    I love the striped top, it would look great with a long skirt, not so much with the short set, but if that works for you,it wouldn’t work for me…the dress is a nice blue color but it reminds me of a robe, besides it envelopes your whole body because you’re so petite. The pants look so 1960’s psychedelic..

    • @adrielfelise
      @adrielfelise  ปีที่แล้ว +1
