+MrCrowsy Hmm, I don't think so. I've played everything from world cup 98 to fifa 02. Everything until 01 was very arcade like, fast, long shots, you could dribble the entire pitch using the same tricks.
Then I played 11 and 12 (new Xbox). They were decent but had some major flaws that could be exploited.
Now I have 14 on my PS4. It's frustrating at first but I'd say it's pretty good and realistic.

***** the crowd can't be high quality as it would defo destroy the FPS in-game. There all made up of low-resolution polygons to prevent lag. They've probably improved on PS4 and Xbox One.

The keepers in FIFA are terribly coded. Shots of that power and accuracy from those distances should be saved every time. The keepers in FIFA just don't move at all.

They are coded right some keepers are like that and some aren't so EA did a great job making the game
josh miller IF you believe that, I feel sorry, because one of Ea's biggest focus on fifa 15 was the goal keepers. They knew that they were coded horribly so they really put a lot of focus into it in 2015 and even then, they still have tons of issues.

Fifa 07 and Fifa 13 were the best fifas in my opinion.. Fifa 07 because the long shot goals were so nice, and fifa 13 because the gameplay was like a video game, not like this "realtistic" fifa 14/15 crap...

It's strange because in the 2001-2002 season, the number 22 was Fabian Càrini, an awful third goalkeeper. Maybe, for an error, the number 22 in Fifa02 was Marcelo "Panterone" Zalayeta. Instead, in the official list (cfr. it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juventus_Football_Club_2001-2002) Zalayeta was the number 25. What a great team that one: Del Piero, Trezeguet, Buffon, Thuram, Cannavaro, Nedved, Zambrotta, Montero, Tacchinardi, Tudor, Conte and Davids.

i wish ea would release fifa 2002 so you could play it online. the game has gone so far backwards since then, with absolutely no skill required to play fifa 15. everyone online plays exactly the same tactics, they dont even look where theyre passing. everyone sets up with a mass defence, ultra high pressure, sprints after the ball constantly for 90 minutes because players can run faster than the ball, and then rams the ball forward to two speedy strikers and tries to barge, skill move and LTB their way though the defence.
the game is total shite, and it will get worse next year because all ea cares about is making money from UT. to score a goal, create chances or even just pass the ball accurately on FIFA 2002 took skill. there was no assisted shooting, minimal skill moves, and definitely no through ball or lobbed through ball button. you couldnt set up some custom formation which essentially plays the game for you. the only way to score was to get good at the controls, which were simple to learn and difficult to master.
what ea puts out now and calls a football simulation is embarrassing.

Donzacuceron occasionally you see an absolutely world-class technical player perform a skill move. you dont see every attacking player on the pitch doing 27 skill moves in every match. in real football, passing is the core of the game, in fifa its almost irrelevant.
