The long shots from Fifa 03 to Fifa 07 are the most satisfying shots in the game. It was something about the pace of the game, when you got a shot like that in it felt like it had some real power to it, and they could fly in from miles. I don’t remember which game exactly, but there was a player on Bari or Parma and he had like 99 long shot skill, he was a monster and was my favorite to play and to score from the half way line 😂

I mean look at FIFA 2001 on the PS1 and PS2, or even FIFA 2007 on the PS2 and PS3. Then look at FIFA 23 on the PS4 and PS5.
