As a outside man and as a Wexford hurling fan Was badly handled felt Sorry for Gerald McCarthy in his reign as Cork manager he was there for the right intentions the problems and Cork gaa politics too biig for him he gave so much for cork as a player and manager pity it didn't work ouut foor him as Cork manager should have resigned after the 08 defeat when given the chance no one deserves abuse or death threats especially when Gerald has family concerned should have being handled better sadly players have too much power sadly the Cork players didn't treat him with respect
