thank you, it was a pleasure tying up a dozen of them. next I'll the up a dozen of your adult quill gordon next .thank you
I agree with swade. These are magnificently done. I live in the deep south, but your flies make me want to do some cold water fishing!
Great video. Alan’s a great tyer and teacher.
I think I met him once. As long as we are talking about the same expert fly tier named Allen, I agree with you.
Best video's by a mile !! Pleasure to watch , learn something new with each one . Keep up the great work !!!!
Andrew, sorry I couldn't do a direct reply, Google+ nonsense I guess. Anyway, the hackle is slightly oversized for the pattern which is fairly common thing for parachute flies.
Beautiful Tie!
Great video. Thanks for all of them. I have a question about one you made a year ago, it's the lefty's deceiver. What are the 2 kind of flash you used for the tail. Thanks.
1. Allen ties commercially and leaves the decision up to the purchaser.
2. No idea on the March Brown yet.
how do you size up the hackle for this fly? I noticed this feather seems to be a bit oversized, but I would imagine that is on purpose.
thanks
What color dubbing do you recommend as a substitute to the snow shoe rabbit?
1. Does he not crimp the barb? 2. Any idea if the Jacklin's March Brown is happening or not?
Thanks.
No much larger, sz 12. Midges being say 22-32 and smaller.
Krystal Flash (silver) and Flashabou (Pearl)
Is this a midge emerger imitator?
🤩👌
