These beautiful spiders are beneficial and prey on bothersome insects, such as gnats, mosquitoes, flies, and aphids. This beautiful, yellow and black spider is not poisonous and is a great addition to the garden landscape. Awesome videos.
Wow, 1979, I was just 19 yrs old. I couldn't imagine a modern car starting after 40 odd yrs sitting in some field, especially over here in England. 👍🏴
40yr standing in Britain??? all that would be left pile of scrap rust ,, Alabama no rust beetle ie no damp 8 months in year that the killer in the UK ask the Bearded Explorer" the motor guy
@edwinthompson6510 if that, way back when i was around 14 / 15, i remember an old mini shell that was in the woods where I live in N / E Derbyshire, I walk that area regularly, I watched over the years as it rusted away, now the only sign that it was ever there are bits of glass, from what was the head lamps that's if one scratches around. But one would have to have known that it was there in the first place. As kids, we used to play in it . And roll it down the shallow hill side until it finally rolled into the hollow of an old bell pit where it rotted away. This would have been around 1974/5. Best wishes, duck.👍🏴
Man she started pretty quickly and she sounds really good! I think this is the first time I’ve seen a fast “will it run” start! Them old engines are strong! Awesome job my friend!👌😎👍
At some point, someone replaced the original engine with one out of a '54. First year for the valve cover with four screws around the outside, and last year for that style water pump.
Good morning from Cape Cod 🦈 your knowledge and expertise is impressive Mr Jennings. Your enthusiasm and positivity is second to none. The old Chevy sounds pretty good. Keep up the good work and the awesome content 👍✌️🇺🇲
Greetings from the UK! I love this channel, I can watch your "will it start?" videos for hours. Hard to say why they're so fascinating but I guess it's a bit like resurrecting the dead. Keep em coming!
My dream has always been to have a 54' Chevy truck, the year I was born. But hey, I'm not choosey, I'll take any old truck that is a Chevy. Had a 61', wish I still had it.
I love watching your videos and always look forward to you getting another classic up and running, but every video I watch I can't keep from wondering why you don't own (or use) a remote starter, a gallon of PB Blaster in a small pump sprayer, a test light, a funnel, an electric fuel pump and some hose, etc. 😅😅 Thank you for saving so many classic pieces of America's better days, and keep up the good work!
You sir, remind me of the days when I was young trying to get a 61 mercury comet running that I bought for 75 dollars. No rust, and that ole girl ran great after new points and a wiring harness. Your channel is great! Keep up the good work.
Glad I found your channel again. Usually watch a handful of videos before I drop a sub but YT quit putting them in my feed and I forgot about it until recently. Subbed now!
Great start-up! One of the easier ones... The coil might do better with the batt power on the positive terminal and the breaker/distributor wire on the negative terminal. It ran, but weak sparks will slow one down.
Now Im looking forward to the one you mentioned at the end! I hope it works out for you because your videos never fail to entertain...so if you are excited for a project we all win!
The patina on this old Chevy is awesome! I'd love to see it with all the crap washed from her. It would make a great "Rat Truck" as it appears to only need cab corners and rockers. No idea regarding the floor but I assume it's solid. Just give the girl a good cleaning and clear coat after relevant panels are replaced and that takes care of the body. Then I would add a "Dual Pot" brake system with a power booster (Why not, it's simply a bolt on) I wouldn't hurt to replace rod ends and king pins as well - shocks too. Replace the rest of the brakes with new/rebuilt wheel cylinders and linings. Add a new clutch and tires and you're done!!! You do a great job with your videos', I know many of us wish to see more. The AAR Cuda has been a tease, so has your REO 4x4. Please post more - they should bring you more revenue from TH-cam. At the very least you will appease many of your loyal viewers. I hope this may have been the nudge you needed, I hope to see your projects soon.
Truck is definitely before my time but as an Alabama resident that is definitely the worst of the worst in terms of vehicles I've pulled out. My Reliant sat outside for around 29 years and the interior was still pristine, not a spot of rust on it. Same for my parts Yugo!
Awesome! I've been looking forward to another video!!!! I swear, I bet you can pull the engine out of the titanic and get it running.
I agree 😂
@@GiGi_I_44 I've done a few on my channel, but nothing as extreme as jennings stuff.
@@bigwrenchtech Is Bigwrenchtech the channel name?
@@bigwrenchtech Found it!
@@GiGi_I_44 Yep, that's me 🙂🙃🙂. Donny is my real name 🤣. Good friends with jamie from dead dodge garage. Thank you for giving me a look🙃
This guy would do great in a Mad Max scenario
This man can get anything running
Love the commentary
“Spider-Man performance package” priceless 😂😂😂

All spiders are poisonous are they not?

Them old Chevrolet inline 6 engines are great. Easy to work on and great torque. Nice old truck you have there.
They're about bulletproof, aren't they?
@@wes11bravo no doubt
love the positivity, and it always makes me smile seeing these old units come back to life!!!Thanks for doing what you do
What a way to spend 20 minutes on a Wednesday night!!!
Thanks for posting!
"Would you buy a used truck from this man?" If it was damn cheap, I might.
Love the stuff you do don't stop
Nothing ever dampens your spirits lol. I love your videos.
Man she started pretty quickly and she sounds really good! I think this is the first time I’ve seen a fast “will it run” start! Them old engines are strong! Awesome job my friend!👌😎👍
It's nice to see how an old engine is brought back to life. The fact that the old truck is still running doesn't really surprise me.
Do yall sell these old vehicles
It just amazes me how you can get some of these old engines started so easily.
Nothing is better than that sound when the Engine starts up. Straight Goose bumps
I really like to see you resurrecting all these old dinosaurs. Thanks, and keep 'em comin'!
Holy shit dude 43 yrs and she sounds amazing, idles almost perfect, very cool your saving her from the depths. Nice find
Favorite automotive channel hands down! I can't get enough of these old things firing up and running! You make a good host too!
He's unafraid of any challenge and he's definitely got personality. Keeps me laughing!
@@wes11bravo me too! He's just an easy going fella that speaks plain and has a good camera appeal. I feel like I know him. Like a favorite cousin.

Mmmm 🌮
At least its not a v8
Noticed that as soon as hood popped open. Much better engine to have already been replaced. more power for the old girl
@@garymccord4277...not to mention aluminum pistons, insert rod bearings, and a fully pressurized oiling system.
The crankcase vent tube on that 235 is in nice shape! A lot of those get banged up. People seem to think they need to be put on with hammers.
We’re moving up in the world with fanciness 😂😂😂
You have a gift for getting these old rigs running again. Always enjoy your videos
Anybody with half a brain can do what he does.
Always a good time at the Jennings place!
I agree.
What a unit! Amazing work My man. Making that engine less anused!!!
Keep it going. Your videos are amazing.
Great video and hoping to see an cuda update soon.
Post more videos love the channel !
Great job sir . That engine sounds good
I find his accent really relaxing to listen to😅
I think the spider was catching the wasps. He found a buffet. Great job getting the old girl running!!
Would be cool to see a video of a project in a later stage of restoration. This one’s badass curious to see where it ends up
No block of wood and hammer bangin' the pistons necessary on this ol' girl. Looking forward to a Part 2, Mr. Jennings!
Montreal's watchin'. As always. Beautiful truck!
Absolutely love your videos you can make anything run 😁😁😁
Except a fish. Or a turtle. Or a snake.
i enjoy these videos. look forward to more.
"That one was crossthreaded."
Yeah, crossthreading is just free locktite.
Good job. Aside from the stinging insects, that was no hill for a stepper. Thanks and take care.
As a frenchman, love your voice and your accent...sounds ASMR to me 😅😊

Young Mr Jennings, love your channel! I look forward to your new video drops.
Dude could find a 6 month old box of jello pudding pops lying in the ditch, she runs!!!! 😂
I think the spider belongs in the carburetor, but you need a special attachment 😅
Yeeeees NOW we’re talking. Always a good day when you upload mate. All the best from across the pond.
Not only did it run but it actually sounded really awesome! Love it.
^scammers are one of the lowest forms of humanity. Dirt on the bottom of a stinky, shoeless foot.

Beautiful orb weaver you got there...
Doesn't seem to be too shy of a spider, only moving an inch when touched.

Kept waiting for that battery to fall down on the distributor!!!!!!!! Really liked that video, keep em coming!!!!!
That truck and I are exactly the same age. She looks and runs better than I do!
She got great compression, just blowing that PB out of them holes. May reach out to Puddin on youtube as he loves that blue patina on his vehicles.
