Work is pacing up on the 125-foot tall statue of Dr B R Ambedkar, adjacent to the Hussainsagar lake in the city. The state government plans to inaugurate the statue on April 14 next year, which will be Ambedkar’s 132nd birth anniversary.
According to officials, the completion of the statue, believed to be the tallest in the country, will be over by February-end, 2023. Government plans to build a museum (photo gallery) depicting the life of Dr Ambedkar as well as a mini theatre.
The museum will have a video of Dr Ambedkar’s speeches that he spoke in the Parliament and, excerpts of a feature film based on his life will be showcased to the public.
This would be a great tribute to the Father of the Indian Constitution! That too near the State Assembly!

What is Total height including all like Circular building+base +Statue , as you are saying circular building height is 50ft if it's excluding statue height then the total Structure height would be 200ft , Statue 125ft and another 25ft for base and 50 ft for circular building so it's totally 200ft structure ?

I very much respect Ambedkar for his education and service inspite of his suffering and in upliftment for the real needy people. At the same time, I also feel he is overated so as to represent entire age old Indian communities and as such no one can be fully represented. In my opinion, by bringing in his own expereiences and personal grudge, he has brought in systematised hate, continuous bashing without fact checking and sanctioned discrimination against certain so called present day OC sections who have nothing to do with their ancentor actions, especially brahmins. They have been suffering for decades now and have truly become modern day minorities, infact dalits. No one really cares for them but everyone hates them. No political party stands for them because their votes hardly matter. Have you ever thought about this. How can a man responsible for promoting perpetual hate against certain minority sections by the majority can be considered secular?
I think we as a nation should stop this fascination with the statues.
