- NS train 098 lead by veteran SD40-2 #3393 hauls General Electric locomotives eastbound. The locomotives, built for VALE of Brazil, are headed for export via the port of Norfolk, VA.

O Brasil não dá conta de fabricar coisas simples como locomotivas diesel-elétricas, tendo que importar ou depender de fabricantes estrangeiros. Um país onde ninguém investe em tecnologia e só quer tirar direitos dos trabalhadores só pode resultar nesse fiasco que estamos vendo. Nessa época, o país estava em seu auge, hoje voltamos a ser a mesma bosta que sempre fomos....
