Seriously, I hear too often from people who've lost their irreplaceable photos. How are YOU backing them up? ❓❓ (More info in the description above.)

If you go on a trip, don't waste all of your time by taking photos and backup them up. Take some pictures, but have spare time to enjoy the trip use your eyeballs to look at the surroundings, instead of the viewfinder or phone screen.

I have SanDisk for my iphone. As long as I don't lose that, is that something that you would recommend? Thanks! And thanks for your videos. ❤️

"SanDisk" could mean many things, so I can't say. What's important is that you always have more than one copy of your photos, and in different places/devices. If this does that, then great.

@@askleonotenboom I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. I was referring to the Sandisk iXpand Flash Drive for iphones, ipads, and computers. You should be able to plug it in, open their app, and free up space, but I've got so many pictures I need to delete, that I haven't used it yet. ❤️

@@10_Percent_For_The_Big_Guy Ah! Looks like a nice little device. Yes, that's a step in the right direction. Again, as long as you copy, not move, photos from your phone and then keep the flash drive separate. I would be even more comfortable if you then copied those photos to another location, like a computer at home. Or also use iCloud to have the photos backed up online as well.

I have a kind of similar situation: how smart would it be to backup about 100+ gb of photos and videos to a flash drive? And would 128gb drive suffice or does it require more storage space?

Small point for clarity: Google Phots or Google Drive or BOTH?

In addition, I don't delete the sd cards from my holidays. I just get a new one.
