The standing ovation for Princess Catherine at Wimbledon was so heartwarming. So many people love and respect her. As usual, I found myself agreeing with everything you said tonight, Sip! As a tennis fan, I never miss Wimbledon, and it was so nice seeing Princess Catherine in attendance at the men's final. It meant that she was having one of her good days, and I was so happy to see that. I loved the look of pure pride Princess Charlotte gave her Mum as she was given a standing ovation on center court. What a nice ladies' day out for Princess Catherine, her daughter and sister. She looked so lovely in purple, and Charlotte looked adorable in polka dots with her hair beautifully braided. Pippa's dress was lovely, too, and I read that it was the same one she wore to her brother's wedding. I hope Princess Catherine can now enjoy her summer holiday with her family, and I hope the next time we hear news about her it will be to announce that she is cancer-free.
When Trump was encircled by security and they were trying to bundle him off the stage he kept stalling, wanting to retrieve his speech, etc. Then he pops up in clear view above the security people. I think he's probably quite difficult to deal with and determined to do it his way despite the advice of experts.
I loved the adoring look Charlotte was giving her mother. So genuine and touching. What a surprise seeing Leyton Hewitt behind Princess Catherine. It’s been an amazing week Shauna, thanks for the catch up. Sip
I have to say your interviews with Taz and Lady C were fun especially including the personal conversation. Taz’s description of her date with her husband made her so relatable. Asking Lady C about her love life was also real and as someone not too far from her age is relatable. Don’t have a castle but also enjoy my single life! Good fun. Thanks.

Shauna, here is a spooky story. After raising 8 children, and being married for 30 years, uncle Buck and aunt Nora decided to call it quits. They remain great friends however, even though uncle Buck remarried to a woman 20 years his junior, and had a son he name Nathan. The little boy had jet black hair and big blue eyes and Aunt Nora called him little Elvis until the day she died. Years later, his parents living deep in the country Nathan drove the 500 miles to visit them.. He decided to take a nap while his parents went to the store. He woke up from a dead sleep with aunt Nora, screaming in his face, “ little Elvis, get out! The house is on fire!“ upon seeing a dead woman, he jumped and ran straight down the stairs and out of the house. He then turned to look and the house, exploded into flames! Upon inspecting the house the fire chief said the fire was burning between the floors of the old farmhouse, and hit a gas line. The house was completely destroyed.
You can feel the love we have for our beautiful Princess Catherine ❤ Seeing her Prince William and the children was so special after all the problems they’ve had to face this year.
Some Sugar-nut made a snarky comment - "So Catherine too sick for royal duties, but not sick enough for going to Wimbledon"... *sigh* Some of the sugars just dont think.... Hi Shauna, a funny story about cows. We were out in the car taking the 2 children to the beach, when our daughter saw one cow getting up on another and wanted to know what they were doing. Sounds like you're having what would be early spring weather in Canada. After the freezing weather during our winter, that feels balmy to us, lol!! Of course, after our super hot summer weather, it feels cold in the fall, lol!! Funny how that happens 🤔 😂
I'm old enough to remember a time when poltical affiliation was a deeply personal choice. It was considered extremely rude to ask someone who they voted for.
To me voting is still private...I never reveal my vote, even to my grandkids ❤, because too many people have lost friendships over political views...not worth the loss. 😊🇺🇸
I think it still should be, in the sense that people shouldn't feel forced to reveal their vote or comfortable demanding it from others. But I do see value in at least some people standing up proudly and saying "I vote for this candidate for these reasons." I just think that, as in many things, the key is balance, which unfortunately seems so hard to find today.
And the political rhetoric wasn’t so dèadlŷ. The two major parties used to work together for the good of the country. We’re too fractured now. Too many lies being said about people. By all means vote, but you don’t have to make your affiliation a personality. 🙄
Thank you for your support of the woman who felt brave by wearing her Star of David. I and many of my friends have started wearing our Stars of David since October 7th to show support for the hostages and those so brutally murdered. There are times when I get uncomfortable to let others see it and quickly tuck my Star of David under my collar to prevent incurring the hatred of others near me. My young grandsons were cursed at and given the unfriendly finger when they went to get sodas at a popular gas station near us. It is a scary world and you help soften it with your kindness, warmth and humor.

The cat story i can relate, but it was our ferrets. We had 2 out playing. While cooking tea one ferret kept coming up to us, then ran off down hallway. Doritto did this couple times . I can't fathom what happened with security. The man showed a policeman the guy on the roof. Didn't the cop have a radio? Why was tha secret service all clustered in a separate area? How could it have gone so wrong? And the conspiracy theories are off the chart. I hope the questions are answered soon and this awful incident be put to bed. On to another issue, compare the Narkles at the award-buying ceremony to Princess Catherine at Wimbledon. That says it all.

A tale to tell Shauna about drummers. We were transferred to Innisfail in the early 80’s for work and in our stay went to a Sweets concerts who were accompanied by a back up band whom I’d never heard of before. Anyways being short and not being able to see them a tall guy asked if I wanted to get on his shoulders and my husband said yes. I do agree!!
The standing ovation for Princess Catherine at Wimbledon was so heartwarming. So many people love and respect her. As usual, I found myself agreeing with everything you said tonight, Sip! I could never articulate myself as well as you, so appreciate your words even more. The security lapse queries did logically come to mind . Loved your interview with Lady C & Love your 2026 goals. I’ve always said the way a good & cool drummer who feels, highlights & emphasises the emotions of music, is something else!
Yes! He didn’t do too much and I love his joy x
Amen.
🙏🏻❤️
I really enjoyed your interview with Lady C. Wonderful personalities!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Gross incompetence by the security service - it should never have come to that - a person died and others injured. Dreadful.
There are a lot of questions that need to be answered.
@@Lainers2000💯!
When Trump was encircled by security and they were trying to bundle him off the stage he kept stalling, wanting to retrieve his speech, etc. Then he pops up in clear view above the security people. I think he's probably quite difficult to deal with and determined to do it his way despite the advice of experts.
@@Lainers2000A lot of holes in that story… 😒
I loved the adoring look Charlotte was giving her mother. So genuine and touching. What a surprise seeing Leyton Hewitt behind Princess Catherine. It’s been an amazing week Shauna, thanks for the catch up. Sip
Yes I noticed that also, and Bex, they had the best seats right behind the Princess.
You are correct in the questions about security at the Trump rally. Thank you for mentioning it. These are important questions.
I have to say your interviews with Taz and Lady C were fun especially including the personal conversation. Taz’s description of her date with her husband made her so relatable. Asking Lady C about her love life was also real and as someone not too far from her age is relatable. Don’t have a castle but also enjoy my single life! Good fun. Thanks.
Shauna, I’m an American and when you said “we are Allies and always will be.” It brought me to tears! Thank you for being a sweet friend on the other side of the world. ❤
And yes we all want to know the answers and I’m SO afraid we will never really know if we have been told the truth.

Thank you! Will do!
@@thevintageread You did tease him about a conversation I recall 😉 What changed your mind?

This American felt just as thrilled and choked-up as everyone at the spontaneous cheers and applause given (GIVEN) to Catherine, PoW. I also liked her natural and perfect acknowledgment. So like her! ❤
Eugienie and Beatrice both wore strange hats to the wedding. I think they went as the Teletubbies.😂

Obviously a) low energy is required for her to attend and b) it was technically a 'duty' as she was there to give away the trophy. Insert endless rolling eyes.
I've steered very clear of the whole attempted assassination thing. My mantra - 'never discuss religion or politics'. I love too many people on both sides of the political spectrum to discuss - its not worth losing a friendship over (again).
Their remarks just shows their ignorance about chemotherapy and the effect it has on a person ..
@@marycrewdson1637 Agreed, it's so hypocritically predictable that sugars will twist themselves into knots to be able to find *something* to criticise Catherine for.
@@ByHookorbyNeedles some of the comments I have seen are unbelievable “she’s a clone 🤦♀️” “it’s not her the earlobes are different 🤦♀️🤦♀️” and I have also seen the ones like the one you highlighted claiming she doesn’t have cancer
@@susansmiles2242 At a certain point you have to feel sorry for them - if they do genuinely believe their own words. Too much of the world distrusts Occam's razors reasoning. They distrust everyone and everything and would rather believe in fantasy/conspiracy than the truth.
@@ByHookorbyNeedlesThe remarks about P Catherine’s illness are so awful but I think a lot of the sugars don’t really believe their comments, I think it just suits their blind (misplaced) loyalty and it fits their personal agenda. I thought of you today Shauna, we went to Highgrove and did the garden tour followed by a cream tea in the Orchard room. I was remembering the snippets about all the goings on there. And we were lucky to get a brief glimpse of the king when he arrived and they raised the standard on the roof of the house.
How lovely! Thanks for sharing it 😊💗

Hi Shauna, a funny story about cows. We were out in the car taking the 2 children to the beach, when our daughter saw one cow getting up on another and wanted to know what they were doing. Having been married to two narcissists, there’s no way I could even be in the same room with HG Tudor. I’d turn into a subservient puddle of goo wanting to please. After listening to HG, I realized I’m the perfect fuel and they sought out me and my low self esteem. I’ve been single for over 20 years and much happier.
Good for you for recognizing the pattern and protecting yourself! I wish you (continued) peace and happiness going forward.
Re:Chad Smith. You can see that he is very passionate about his craft. He is so animated and into the music and makes you just want to "air drum" (is there such a word) along with him. He reminds of a violinist who is so into the music that they are playing.😊
Sounds like you're having what would be early spring weather in Canada. After the freezing weather during our winter, that feels balmy to us, lol!! Of course, after our super hot summer weather, it feels cold in the fall, lol!! Funny how that happens 🤔 😂
Balmy 😂💕
Yes...cold is 30 below zero F...Canada goes from 30 below to 30 above during each year. We just deal with it as a matter of course.
I loved Julia Roberts reaction. Beautiful

We then realised Milo was missing. So we followed Doritto, down hallway to bathroom. And there we found Milo treading water in the Loo. So we fished him out and had to wash him. Doritto was trying to tell us that Milo was in trouble.
Thank goodness for Dorito!

An unfunny comedy of errors.
Shauna Thank you for mentioning the attempt on Trump’s life and the loss of life at that rally. It is very frightening the thought of the voice for at least half of our people being snuffed out. Loved seeing princess Catherine. ❤
@@Just4fun970 I am definitely not a supporter, and I have in fact stopped listening to both River and Lady C for their fervent support of the former President, but such violence has no place in our democracy, and the loss of the fireman’s life was heartbreaking for all Americans. While I was bouncing up and down on his shoulders, these hands were holding my butt to make sure I didn’t fall off. I thought it was my husband but to my surprise it was Mick Fleetwood 🤩my heart burst out with joy ❤ he lifted me off this gentleman’s shoulders and to my disbelief could not take my eyes off of how huge his hands were. Anyways turned out he was the drummer for the other band 🎉 in saying all that we partied with them all till very late hours of the morning 💓
