agree. Saddle shoes are a bit stiff, especially around the rim of my foot. They are pretty, and you can always wear socks, but I live in tropical country. And probably a Madame or some people will comment with admiration how badly they used to want the shoes back in the days, lol. Well, I regret not buying it, but I got a white one with similar model that is more comfortable.

I love saddle oxfords, I just bought Muffy's saddle oxfords, a little over a month ago. I'm a guy, so I had to buy them, a size and a half bigger, so I got the last 2, 13s they had, which is equal to a 11.5 men's. the Willits shoes, you got are really cute, but I like Muffy's the best, because they are completely accurate for the 50's, and look the best. they have 5 shoe lace holes, on each side, with white rings around the holes, and they have pink soles on the bottom, but they also have the white trim, on the top of the soles, and I like that they have a white tongue, and the shape of the shoe is accurate and nice (the Willits are really good too), and it's not too pointed, but not to round (the Willits are really good as well), and the black saddle part is completely straight (and the Willits are too) and they have flat white shoe laces, and they are tan on the inside, and leather on the inside and not too thick, and it also has the model number on the inside, and the black trim in the back is completely straight, and doesn't have any of the white cut outs, but the center black saddle does have the white cut outs (the Willits has a lot of that stuff too) and of course 100% leather with rubber soles. they are also very comfortable, and will bend with your feet, and aren't too stiff, or hard (but not too soft either) If you ever wanted to get more you could also check them out as well, but if you like the Willits better, I completely understand. they are available on ebay, the full name is (Muffy's Classic Black/white leather Saddle Shoes US Women's sizes 5-12 (#250) my girlfriend and I love the 50's (were living in the 50's) (1955-1962) and we've seen American Graffiti probably 100 times, if you ever get a chance, you should watch it, it came out in 1973, and takes place in the 50's, and it has all the cars, music and fashion from the 50's. 1955 was the first good year for everything, and 1962 was the last good year, and everything changed in 1963, and onward. but a lot of that stuff came back (about 50% in 1973 and onward) the 50's is when rock'n'roll had that bounce off the wall sound, and it was a cooler time, and that's when teenagers dressed like teenagers, and that's when they made cars for teenagers, ('55, '56 and '57 Chevy's were the 3 best years) and that's when they made music for teenagers, and it was fun, and not political, and the 50's never gets old, but the 80's gets old fast. another thing that was big in the U.S. in the late 50's and early 60's was cruising on main street, in a small town, which is just one of the many activities done in American Graffiti. and it also has plenty of girls, with pleated skirts with plaid (mid length) saddle oxfords or white bucks, and high pony tails, or the top tied back, and the sides falling down wavy, and light brown hair, or blonde hair, blue eyes and green eyes (which is the most common in a small town) (a small town is inbetween, it's not small like a country town, but not big like a big city) and a peter pan (collar) white button up shirt, with short sleeves (rolled up twice) and tucked in the skirt, and the skirt pulled up over the belly button, and bobby socks rolled down, and high waisted white (fitted) cotton panties (with no writing on the waist band) and light make up to make it look like they're not wearing any (light colored lip stick, that looks natural, and blends in with lips, or no lipstick, and light make up, or no make up) and sometimes they would wear a cardigan as well, and they would also wear cute teenage type dresses (mid length) or a peter pan dress, in a solid color (like pink for example) and they were also built as well, with body fat in all the right places, (like a bubble butt, thick legs, thick arms, etc.) I look a lot like John Milner from American Graffiti, and we are so much a like, in who we are as well (everyone can find a character that's just like them in the movie) the picture of me is from 2008, when I was 14, so I looked a lot different then, than I do now, I'm 26 years old, and I looked like I do now when I was 16 and older. (the best ages are ages 16-29) I usually wear fitted black Levi's with a fitted white hanes undershirt tucked in, and the sleeves rolled up twice (or other color t-shirts, but when it's a solid t-shirt, like a yellow t-shirt, it would be a t-shirt, instead of an undershirt, and would have a pocket on it, but an undershirt, you don't want a pocket on it, and my hair is squared straight across in the back, and hair underneath is the same length as the rest of the hair in the back, (and off of the collar, but still long enough to go into a D.A.) and hair about half way over the ears and bangs just out of the eyes, but still long enough to comb back, and shaved down on the neck, and light brown hair, and green eyes, and big muscles, with body fat in all the right places as well/built (bubble butt, thick legs, and thick arms, etc.) and that small town 50's rocker look, and a cruising tan, on my left arm, right wear the top of the tricep, meets the shoulder, and a tan on the face and neck. girls usually get that simular tan. I have a pair of vintage saddle shoes and the sole is super hard on them, I find them to be quite comfortable vs softer soles, even with my feet.

Bought some saddle shoes for around 25$USD and the white exterior crumbled and broke soon as I tip toed 😭 in my opinion a good saddle shoe is also a sport shoe cause I think that was their purpose.
