You got the Unifi bug like me, once you start you can’t stop haha! I just recently switched out my whole set up. I went with the same 24 port POE switch, but I do wish the 2 SFP ports were 10 GbE. Thanks for sharing and keep up the hard work of putting out videos.

I'm in the process of doing the same with my network, so I'm glad that I came across your channel!

Great video, I have the TP-Link version ( controller/router/main switch with smaller switches throughout the home, basically the same setup, even up to the adoption process, the apps are really similar too..I really wish TP came out with a cable modem to tie it all together. Keep up the good work.

Loved what you shared. Made me learn a lot. I am factory of industrial smart management POE switch. Can I establish supply relationship with you?

Neighbor gave me three older G3 cameras. That got me into the Ubiquiti family and now it has exploded!

The Unifi 24-port switch is nice, but there are a couple of drawbacks:
only 95 watts PoE power budget, for 16 PoE ports. So average of only 6 watts per port.
Fiber uplink ports are only 1gb. For a switch with 24 gigabit ports, the fiber uplinks really should be 10 gigabit.

Nice video, very personable and informative, I am using TP-Link Omada now but plan on switching.

Maybe get a 0,5m DAC between UDM and USW. Just port 11 at the UDM to 25 of the USW. Yeah, it's "just" 1GbE, but it's the way. (And maybe set the UDM's port 11 to 1GbE, manually.)
