Great video my friend. Its awesome to see others using this setup and it getting some love on the tube! Nice stuff. Keep calm and print on!Thanks for the vid!
Yes, Anker C1000 is a great station! 👍 LOVE IT ❤
It is a great option.
You need a script, dude
I’ll be getting mine any day. I’m excited it’s my first pla printer. I understand the extrusion between colors, is all that useless waste? Would you get it if it swaps from a different spool with the same color?
Good vid 👍
I think its a huge waste of fillament and time . faster to print it in white and paint it :)
The Remarkable pen works well on the Scribe.
What an amazing thorough review! So happy you're loving your RevAir & thank you for sharing!! ❤
Does the pen scratch the screen in time?
Hello, what settings do you use in Anycubic Slicer Next? Or is it better to use OcraSlicer? Can you share the settings you use?
Yes, Anycubic Next slicer generic TPU settings (Kobra 3), I would do a test print but the only thing I would change is the print speed to slow it down if prints are falling.
How many 40 volt or 80 volt?
48v system.
Hey there What are your settings to print tpu? My prints all failed with tpu...
I actually use the default settings except for the 50c for the bed and 215c for the nozzle. I'm sure 210 would work as well but thought 215 would make it flow better. Also make sure the TPU is dry before printing. Hope that helps.
@walkerfamilyreviews i'll try it, thank you
I will say the ebook reader on multiple different brands are useful, and can be more useful than a book in very simple ways -- you can read in the dark with the built-in backlights on almost all models, you can quickly resize the text, depending on your reading needs (with or without glasses). Things you can't do with anything physical, without moving it closer to your nose or turning on a light. And if you have presbyopia or any other vision issues, moving it closer doesn't mean it's instantly more clear. So larger text can compensate for that. And the only way to fix that in the physical world is to get a magnifier. So now I'm carrying around by reading/writing material, my reading glasses or a magnifier, and a light attachment, all to take notes or read something. But this one device can cover all of that.
Looks good, a nice strobing led would make it epic.
That's what I plan to put in it.
Done that before
Some of the hotends they had released had faulty seals
Heat it up and scrape it off unless its clogged inside if u have plyers those help aswell
Just avoid scratching the hot end too much
Great advice, once I saw this I was paralyzed and overwhelmed didn't know what to do.
My pen starts wrinting before i touch it...
You need to replace the tip if this happens.
Mine gets here soon, I'm so excited
It's good to see creality still hasn't learned from their mistakes. No upright supports. It was the single most important mod for my cr10s pro v2. That and the dual z-axis belt syncronizer.
I like my kobra 3, there was alot of issues with the original release so there is some hate i got it on preorder was terrible, got a free replacement one works like a dream
That poop chute is wayyy better then mine, where u get it?
Found it on Makeronline just search kobra 3 bin. I had to scroll a bit to find it. But I thought this one worked best as it is only one part.
I actually found the listing again here you go. www.makeronline.com/en/model/Kobra%203%20Anycubic%20Poop%20Basket%20Multicolor/20251.html
Setup face ID then you don't have to worry about the power button/fingerprint reader
Debating this or a x1 as my anycubic died in 6 months of use
X1 i think is definitly better but more expensive i believe the p1 is the comparative model too kobra 3
Another good(and better) option for about the same price is the Bambu lab a1

Dam you suck the life out of video 😢
Great video. I'm going to get one of these after hearing your review. I'm setting up a larger home lab too. The comments about your computer monitors helped a lot. I only have two monitors and a laptop, but four, yea. That looks good. Thanks for the review.
Glad it was helpful! Let me know how it turns out.
Are you related to a Cedric?
Great video.. im probably going to hold off until the holidays and look for sales. THANKS!
My solution: For my wife's upcoming birthday, I ordered two Kindle Scribes. It's her birthday gift, but I get one too. Modern solution for a modern problem. fwiw, I'm an Evernote/ToDoist refugee. Currently playing with Joplin which is open source and available on PC and mobile devices. Not as polished as Evernote, but honestly Evernote was getting too feature rich with a price to match. I'm very much looking forward to leaning into the Kindle Scribe. Thanks for the video, enjoyed it!
Do you need a UniFi dream machne or you can use the Unifi controler app as long is its at ver.8 ?
No, you can use any gateway/router with the UCI.
Very nice review! I have a Kindle Scribe for 5 days now and like it. I tried the Supernote Nomad and thought it was good but I did not like the writing experience because it felt close to an Ipad. The writing experience on the Kindle Scribe is just like paper and I especially like it with the fountain pen option. My only complaint is that I uploaded a PDF form that I use everyday for work and cannot seem to figure out how to use multiple pages of that same form. If anyone knows, please let me know.
Find a free online PDF that will let you duplicate the page as many time as you need, save it as a new document, and send it to your kindle.
How is it holding up?
Still holding strong. I love not having to crank the handle to put the hose away.
Best review I have seen!
Don't buy electric. Will never replace gas. Waste of money
The best thing about the scribe is that it's an exceptional e-reader. I take lots of notes on different subjects, but it's even more impressive to have a whole library of books in just one device. I wish they could enable a split screen book/notebook feature. Writing is still a lot better for learning than just highlighting.
Use a Boox device
Great video! I'm also a left-hander. I flipped mine the other way so the wider side is on the right and the pen/magnet is on my left. Looking forward to learning more about scribe's features! Thank you! :)
Great review! I got my scribe when it first came out! The enhancements have been great! And I agree the writing experience is the best! If you love to read and write you can’t go wrong with the kindle scribe! Thanks for your review!
I’m not buying a riding mower. I’m gonna keep cutting with my large rear wheel manual mower until the price drops on the newer remote controlled mowers…Gonna sit in the shade with a lemonade and cut the yard with a remote.
I've owned a robot mower, and it was one of my best purchases to date. I gifted it to my mom as I couldn't use it and have an invisible fence for the dogs. That was truly a sad day. But once I get my hand on one of those gps enabled ones I'll be sipping lemonade with you, my friend.
I bought it. I hate it. It seems nobody is mentioning an important thing: everytime you turn the page, the screen takes a long time (thinking?) then it flashes and goes completely black, and only then does it show the next page. It is very very sloooooooooooow... Not good for your eyes!! You can't search inside the book or flip through it. It's a disaster. Maybe it is good for the trash bin. I can not recommend it. Do not buy one.
It is an e-ink device, and the refresh is expected. But I would not consider it slow. I have owned 4 e-ink devices since 2011. The Kindle Scribe is by far the fastest.
maybe your books is a pdf? PDF files load slow on any e-reader. Get an epub version of the book and it's lightning quick
@@finnthehuman8495 Me too, I have owned 4 of these devices, the scribe is the slowest.
@@ch3ckm8 I dislike epub files. All my pdf books (I have more than a million) work very well in other devices I have or had.
I’m trying to explain why we need this and the dream router to my wife. I keep telling her in 2 years this moden would pay for it self, but if I get this do I need the dream router or can I just get a switch and a u6 WiFi point?
You will still need a router (Dream Machine), the modem is like a road, the router is your license, the individual devices ie phones, computers are the vehicles.
Underrated video, you deserve way more views! This video is what finally got me to pull the trigger and order the scribe.
If you have spectrum like i do, they use the company supplied wifi/router to provide free connections to other spectrum customers. I replaced mine due to this, not only did you rent it but they used your electricity to provide services you didn’t agree to.
That's a great point, I didn't mention in my video, thanks for sharing.
If it didn't work since day 1, it'd be going back to the retailer. Not worth it to fix their problem.
Where's the fun in that? It's kind of turning into a nightmare. But still working on getting this thing running.
I feel for you, you got caught with the wallet curse, it's happens to the best of us! I'm an electronic engineer, if you can post a schematic and tell me what's not happening I might be able to tell you how to test components and where to look for the problem. Usually these off brands are just rebranded name brands, I doubt this company is making this from scratch. It's not impossible if it came from China but you might want to look around and see name brands that look like it if you can. This might give you an idea who made it originally.
Maybe get a 0,5m DAC between UDM and USW. Just port 11 at the UDM to 25 of the USW. Yeah, it's "just" 1GbE, but it's the way. (And maybe set the UDM's port 11 to 1GbE, manually.)
If all you want to do is organize your note-taking, you’ll love the Scribe- it has a great screen, and yours is the perfect use case. If you want to integrate it with other applications on a computer, IOS, etc., then you’ll probably outgrow the Kindle ecosystem, and end up graduating to a reMarkable, Supernote, or Boox.
It will be interesting to get your long (er) term review. I’m re-trying a Scribe. (Tried it 6 months ago). I am a long time kindle ecosystem user.
Give your wife the scribe and try a Supernote. 😅 Best notebook replacement hands down. has ocr search, tagging etc. I own both the Scribe and Supernote so am speaking from personal experience.
I'll have to do some research of the Supernote. May have another review coming soon.
Yeah Supernote is better
But… supernote you need to pay ongoing service right?
@@enriquediaz7547 nope thats Remarkable, their other competitor. Supernote is v consumer friendly. They still support previous gens w OS updates, advocate for right to repair, and are against planned obsolescence.
