For anyone focused on texts and religions predating the Bible, realize the Bible has a PURPOSE.

Satan REGAINED dominion of this world from man. His ENTIRE purpose is to convince us that God is the INFERIOR choice.
God is proving that He is not inferior. Meaning there must be something to choose between (ie: predated religions).

PS: some texts are scrubbed from the Bible (by the Holy Spirit) because they don’t show this purpose. Let's delve into this shall we. Jesus wasn't Syrian or even close to it. His mother Mary comes from the tribe of Judah. Jesus said be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. At the end of the day, Satan is a serpent and he seduced mankind with the prospect of knowledge that it would exalt us and that led to our downfall. I sought knowledge my whole life. Knowledge is nothing without understanding. You can have all the knowledge in the world and not know how to discern good from evil. Knowledge, power, possessions... it's all a sad compromise to find what fulfills us. The only time I felt fulfilment was when I surrendered myself to Christ and walked by faith not knowledge. I found certainty and peace in the Lord way more than I ever found in my man-made conceptions and my knowledge.
I pray that you come to that same conclusion sooner rather than later and may God bless you and your loved ones so that the enemy cannot hinder your faith and prosperity when you leave them in the dust.
