The way he let Michael die in front of him, keeping poor Andy in the cellar for nine months and continuously dodging the consequences of he's and Vinny's/Harvey's scam. However, Phelan has to receive his comeuppance in the end of this, in which overall Connor McIntyre deserves an award for playing the role of the villian, Pat Phelan to perfection.

They should have killed him off when Andy hit him over the head with that brick. Then, he could have manipulated Andy from beyond the grave. But, no. Shock value over quality, I guess.

Callum vs him would have been interesting. Callum would win in a fight cos younger quicker and more psycho, but it will still have been one hell of a feud, much better than Gary Windarse who just got made to look like a schoolboy except for that one cheap shot with the piece of wood (and then even more so by Rick the loan shark)
The hitman Vinnys guy Denton Callum's Boss guy what ever he is called is no harder than Andy Carver and Phelan doesn't have amazing fighting skills just above average strength and 6ft approx frame 50ish old body 😂
Phelan is a really inconsistant fighter. He gets jumped from behind here but manages to fight of his attacker and send him packing but when he attacks Luke from behind he comes of second.
Great fight, Phelan is probably the best coronation street villain ever, I wish we could see him take on some of the other Rogues like Jim McDonald, Drug dealer Ronan, Nick the Loan shark, Nathan etc.
