While using maps in running vehicle sometime a driver gets distract easily and also face an accident. Additionally, in a long route, there might be a bad network connection owing to which electronic maps do not work better. On a flipside ,paper map don’t show your present location,Which might be a big hurdle in your trip .These are the demerits of using maps for navigation.

Yes of course there are several demerits of using maps as paper maps do not update immediately which may confuse people during travelling and some times due to bad internet connection gps system does not work so people can lose their way

Well,there are some disadvantage to rely on maps. sometimes at rural areas there are no network so it is daunting to depend on navigation and sometimes people indulged in their phone it also cause accidents.
