I just finished building my own version of this, also based of the 6.5 guys plans. I had a bunch of 1.5x5.5 inch boards laying around so I used those instead of buying lumber, but I also decided to modify the dimensions in the 6.5 guys build so that it matched the dimensions for PRS Skills stages 1 and 2. I made the lowest level 18" tall off the ground, the middle one 30" off the ground, and the top level 52" off the ground. I then extended the far right board an extra 8" higher so that you can brace laterally when practicing at that height. I also varied the other levels up a little bit. With that set up, I can now practice for a very wide variety of stages. you know. Just in time for the end of the season

I made mine with hinges so it folds up. The hinges are quick release so I can easily separate the sections for portability and to only use one or two if the space is tight.

Where does the 39" piece go? I see it in your cut list but can't tell where it goes. Thanks for the video.

The 39" piece is one of the vertical boards that makes up the second "step" of the barricade. perhaps google "6.5 guys barricade" and look at images. You should find their original plans there.

The cost of lumber has made the "cheap" portion outdated lol

Did you use the 2x2 s or 2x4?

      2X4's

Precision Rifle Network I’m trying to figure out where you used the 39” length 2x4 :(

What are the specs for a PRS barricade?

Joseph, if you google "6.5 guys barricade plans" you will find them. You could also pause my video and screen capture the measurements which are right at the end.

28-30" for the lower, and 52-54 for the upper. With this design, you can make a couple tweaks to make your middle and top levels in that range. I did, and also made the lower level 18" to meet the specifications of the PRS Skills Stage #1
