Thank you so much explaining the flows. This is very helpful considering my work as a Salesforce consultant. I used to work with Process Builder and had very little knowledge with flows. Is there an order of your videos I should go with? I want to start with basics to advanced. Are you on Udemy I can pay for your lessons. I have a question on the first exercise. In case the user has a different shipping address to enter while creating the record, will that get overwritten by the flow? The use case referenced that requirement, but I think the flow did not consider that, right? Could you please clarify? Thanks
That's correct. First scenario did not consider hence the values will be overridden.

We can take care of it by adding condition in start element of that flow as
Shipping city ISNULL TRUE
Shipping Street ISNULL TRUE
Shipping State ISNULL TRUE
Shipping Country ISNULL TRUE
Shipping postalcode ISNULL TRUE
This Video says that A flow can be Called when an Field Update is Done !! Whereas the last video says we need to call process builder which in turn calls Flows !!! Am I correct ?
Hi Aswin. By the time previous video was posted flows do not have the ability to get called on field update, people had used process builder to call flows.. after Salesforce new releases flows got new feature to get called on field updates. Hope this answered your question

Hi Shree, As you said when the account is created and if the Rating is hot then create the Opp with same name as Account Name!!
You have Added a Condition 1) Rating is Hot 2) Rating is Changed as True !!
This Works Fine when we update an Account but it stops Working whenever we Create a New Account (Because it doesn't have the Previous value of Rating)
In order To achieve the Scenario we must Add a Decision element which checks
1) For New Account === Rating is Hot && Prior_Rating = Null
2) For Old Account (Updating the Field) == Rating is Hot && New_Rating is not equal to Old Rating!!

Create a 'Confirmed no. of mentees on all projects' field in Contracts & Pipeline object.
For each Project related to a Contract there is a User Engagement related list.
In each User Engagement related list there is a mentee record and a mentor record. We need to know the number of registered mentees on each project which can be taken from 'Total Registered Mentees'
The 'Confirmed no. of mentees on all projects' field (at Contacts level) should contain the sum of all 'Total registered users' for each User Engagement record where Type = Mentee

Flow is not working properly after setting the condition Rating IsChanged True for New Accounts, Opportunity is not getting created for new accounts after setting that condition. Update is working fine but creation is not working.

Hi, I'm working on the same flow but was not able to implement it.
My requirement is that when a record from an object field (text type)has been created than it should be added in the other object field which is a multipick list field. Do I have to create a junction object for this?
In scenario 3 if amount changed more than 10000 in discription need to add some comment ok fine it worked for me whenever i changed the amount value more than 10000 than previous value but also it is working (comment added in discription) for less than 10000.
I followed the same steps in this video. Pls help me out.

You have to select All conditions are met and declare both the conditions rating = hot /rating ischanged = true

In 1st scenario, you didn't check in Flow, whether Shipping Address is empty or pre-filled? Correct? It will overwrite existing data in that case
