Got my Purple Haze Militaw and it's a banger! Only thing I don't like is the nylon washers so thanks for the Skiff update! Not that it needs em... the drop is pretty crazy out of the box
Love that DLC blade! i have been asked a couple times about scales for it. I can tell just looking at the exterior of the fat carbon that they are contoured. They are probably flat on the side that meets the scale tho.
I use a heat gun on medium heat and it always works. Just heat those screws up for about a minute or less znd no problem as long as it's not cross threaded. I've had that situation before.
Nice video. I have ordert my millitaw s45 dlc yesterday. But one question offtopic. What band is this in your video. Love the groove. Perfekt to weldind some stuff together 😂❤
I renamed it after I saved it off of TH-cam so I don't recall but it was free for content creation. Just takes a long time to hunt through their songs for the stuff I like.
I'm kind of interested in switching the bearings out for skiff thick washers - would I need the same 5mm 3/64" washers, or do I need to remove the existing washers the bearings sit on and add that thickness to the skiff washers?
Do you recommend changing out the bearings on day one or let it ride a bit? I just got the new 80s camo Militaw and it’s got some premium upgrades but I’m curious if I need to upgrade the bearings right away.
@@dailygearguide That makes good sense. I’m new to the knife world so trying to soak up all the knowledge. So caged bearings>Stamped Bearings. Great videos. Thanks for the insights.
Great job brother ❤
Thanks ✌️💙

I have not done that switch personally. A set of calipers might help determine that though.

I would do them right away IF you want to do them. They don’t really need it as Kizer uses caged bearings which I like more than stamped bearings.
