Tab really should be as well known as Steve Ray Vaughn or Eric Clapton or Johnny Winter. Hes the real deal, no artifice and no phoning it in: one guitar, 2 amplifiers, no effects pedals. He tours a lot, especially in the northeast, and if you ever get a chance you really have to go see him play live. He'll knock your socks off, and hes a great storyteller and jokester as well.

He doesn't even practice at all or warm up so what you see is what you get pure raw talent no effects lots of people dont know this about tab but he doesn't practice at all.. his guitat teacher told his mom im not sure why you keep bringing him he knows more then me there isn't anything i can teach him.. his singing is so amazing i can keep going on tab is my favorite blues artist and guitar player of this era possibly of all time and ive listen too them all.. he doesn't sound like anyone else he writes his own music and amazing music at that. Tab is one of the best guys to do it. He doesn't play with effects pedals and he's played a 1971 Fender Telecaster Slimline. Just a pure soulful musician. Brings that Cajun soul to everything he does. I get lost in this song. Every single time.
The 1st time I took my wife to see him play, she was so blown away that when she found out he hosted a festival every October in his hometown of Houma Louisiana she said " that's it, we have to go"! And so we flew from New England to Louisiana for his 3 day festival!
I have seen him in clubs and in festivals several times. Such an awesome blues guitarist and singer. He even did drum solos. I also like when uses guitar for percussion.

Admission to the voice of the wetland's festival is free and the sale of food and drinks funds his foundation to spread awareness of the importance of preserving the bayou swamps and the Delta coastline.

I've seen him live twice Harri and plan to see him at the Tampa Bay Blues Festival in April and again in Wilmington 4 days later. Great live performance! I highly recommend his songs Shelter Me and Medicine.
I saw him last summer and man he just gets up there and is on 10 for 2+ hours. A good friend of mine sent him my way and I haven’t looked back! His guitar playing is very much standard blues but he has unique ways of working through scales

The 1st time I took my wife to see him she was so blown away that we ended up flying to Louisiana and going out to Houma to see him play at the festival he hosts. Anyway I am part French Canadian and so I don't have any problem pronouncing your last name as "R - sun - O"! One of the nurses my wife works with has the same last name as yours anyway.....

He didn't even want to be in music but his talent was so great he couldn't help it from what I heard. I was front row at Herman's hideaway in Denver. He broke a strong on his strat and I got it...
I've never seen him playing or photographed with a Strat, he plays a Thinline Telecaster almost exclusively (the wear on the guitar tells the story!). The last time we saw him he broke 3 strings!
He's a Louisiana blues boy to the core. He's been a favourite for about 20 years. So glad someone requested this.
