Thanks for the discussion. Both were on my radar but wasn't sure which one to choose based on the similar concepts. Any thoughts on just the 2 player game for each one?

I've liked My Farm Shop better with both two and three players. (It doesn't have solo rules, and I didn't play Bad Company with four.)
MFS allows you to more directly impact what the other player can do, and I find the development of your own area more interesting. Also, you can just see what's on both boards more easily because the icons aren't teensy. -WEM

Where does Space Base land in comparison to these games for you?

I played Space Base three times three years ago on someone else's copy, so I don't have fresh experience upon which to judge. I recall liking the design, especially with it being a race to a point threshold , but I almost never find AEG's graphics appealing, so I was not moved to pick it up. -WEM
