Don't forget that by this point he's already finished his space opera campaign. Starstruck Odyssey was taped roughly 6 months ago. B Dave remarking that he confirmed Spelljammer clearly dates the taping of this show to April.
But Matt Murdock showed up in the last Spiderman movie. And Disney plus has all the marvel Netflix shows. There's a strong chance these characters will make more appearances and even a good possibility of shows returning.

It is so much fun to watch what they can do when they only have/get to focus on 1 character as opposed to having to run the game. It makes for great deep characters!

I only knew four of these folks before now, but Todd, Gina, and Meagan were *so* much fun! Riddle's "Torven, is it time to play Hide 'n' Seek now?" was great, Torven's entire revolt was amazing, and everything Bác Sĩ did was hilarious. I loved the others, too, but I already knew I would going into this 😃 I don't know much about Spelljammer other than "it's D&D in space", but so far, this is perfection and I want more!

this was really cool, I didn't really have any experience with any of these players except for aabria. Heard of most of these people and I enjoyed it a lot. Can't wait what weird sh*t they are all gonna get into. As a somewhat new player, 5e being my first, I had no idea what spelljammer was really like until very recently and it sounded so fun and amazing so this taking place right after the announcements is awesome. Really makes me want to play in the setting for sure. I just have to say though, Riddle's character art is on of the most amazing pieces i have ever seen for any d&d character. That face and vibe. I didnt even know she was an autognome until she announced it. I can see this (well without the wheels) as a f'd up version of a drow too. The face in the artwork is so expressive and badass, I love it and actually I have to admit that art was one of the reasons I definitely didn't wanna pass on checking this out. I gotta find out who drew it.

I remember playing this the first time it came around lol. The great cast can't wait to see this play out. I'm just getting back into D&D so learning the 5th edition as a Dragonborn Barbarian. I've only seen Black Dice Society so I'm enjoying seeing B.Dave as a player.
I got to say, I'm unfamiliar with all of these people, but this was an absolute delight to listen to. Everyone's characters are engaging, and the DM's voice work is outstanding. Definitely will be checking in on the rest of these as they pop up.
Great players all around. Those last 15 minutes are like watching a masterclass in how a DM can breathe life into NPCs with very little screen time and only a few lines. Absolutely brilliant. Thanks Brennan Lee Mulligan!

She managed to play a Paladin like a Barbarian on B. Dave's Invitation to Party on G4tv. Now we get to see the Kender (& Afflicted as well). Perfect!

1:09:50 - Hell yes, perfectly executed Battlemaster + Rogue tag-team, with distracting shot / commander's strike to set up a Sneak Attack outside of the rogue's turn, with advantage so the rogue doesn't even need the target to be engaged with someone else in melee. (Costs 2 superiority dice, but both get added as damage, so the opportunity cost is just the base damage of one of his shots.) As well as create an RP interaction of Torven letting Riddle know what he thinks she should do in this situation. Always fun to see people make good use of the rules to pull off cool moves in combat. (I'd only seen Todd + Meagan in one D&D actual-play series before, Silver and Steel which I started but got distracted from, even though it was good. So after seeing the setup to this combo, I already anticipated that they both knew what they were doing, and might have planned this combo together. Meagan had me worried when she called out just 8 damage, but then added the Sneak Attack separately :P)

I didnt even know she was an autognome until she announced it. I can see this (well without the wheels) as a f'd up version of a drow too. The face in the artwork is so expressive and badass, I love it and actually I have to admit that art was one of the reasons I definitely didn't wanna pass on checking this out. I got to say, I'm unfamiliar with all of these people, but this was an absolute delight to listen to. Everyone's characters are engaging, and the DM's voice work is outstanding. Definitely will be checking in on the rest of these as they pop up.
Great players all around. Those last 15 minutes are like watching a masterclass in how a DM can breathe life into NPCs with very little screen time and only a few lines. Absolutely brilliant. Thanks Brennan Lee Mulligan!

1:09:50 - Hell yes, perfectly executed Battlemaster + Rogue tag-team, with distracting shot / commander's strike to set up a Sneak Attack outside of the rogue's turn, with advantage so the rogue doesn't even need the target to be engaged with someone else in melee. (Costs 2 superiority dice, but both get added as damage, so the opportunity cost is just the base damage of one of his shots.)
As well as create an RP interaction of Torven letting Riddle know what he thinks she should do in this situation.
Always fun to see people make good use of the rules to pull off cool moves in combat.
(I'd only seen Todd + Meagan in one D&D actual-play series before, Silver and Steel which I started but got distracted from, even though it was good. So after seeing the setup to this combo, I already anticipated that they both knew what they were doing, and might have planned this combo together. Meagan had me worried when she called out just 8 damage, but then added the Sneak Attack separately :P)
