Kumasi is one of the cities in ghana that has the potential to become a world-class and well organized city in Africa or even globally. Accra is too dirty and overcrowded. Im a notherner, but just my honest opinion .

Once u mention Accra or u try to compare even by saying Kumasi is the cleanest in Ghana then u invite responses. Accra is the administrative,financial, commercial, educational, entertainment, and health capital of Ghana… how is Kumasi going to beat that? The problem of Kumasi is that it lacks vibrancy…. Lots of empty houses there… a city is built by ppl with much disposable income or ppl who like spending even with less disposable income… that creates vibrancy

They always start the gutter comments and when people clap back at them they go round saying people hate Ashanti's. How do you compare Kumasi "in its current state" to Accra? And I don’t know who lied to them .. making them delusional … they keep saying Accra is been developed by Kumasi ppl and the government use their resources to develop Accra. According to ken Ofori attah tema port generates more than a quarter of Ghana’s revenue n greater Accra alone accounts for 80% of government’s revenue..the 20% comes from the other 15 regions. They forgotten d western n eastern got resources too. They need to develop a reading habit. If Accra was developed by Kumasi peeps den Kumasi would hv been d most commercial n beautiful city in the Ghana like New York or Los Angeles n Accra would hv Jux been an administrative capital with lil economic activities just like Washington DC.

They should hire the people who are taking care of the environment at KNUST to do the same thing at Prempeh 1 International Airport.
