Met her today and spoke to her for a brief moment as she was working in the cafe. She works around the site and is in the middle of all the action when it becomes busy with people coming to visit. Her and her family are always wanting to improve the site, it’s a breath taking site with wonderful views. I am blessed live near by, my mother has often seen her shopping at Asda in the town near by
I came on here because I read part (as I'm not a subscriber) of an article (Daily Telegraph) regarding her having 300 tenants and that she interviews them all herself. And I have to admit, the way I read that article (or just the beginning of it for reasons give above) gave me an immediate first impression (shame on me). I then watched this short video, and talk about doing a complete 180 degree turn - I absolutely love her ! Well done her, and good for her and I wish her all the best. She comes across as an absolutely lovely person. And I can *assure* you, I've never said any of that before about a 'landlord' ever !
American here. :). I JUST discovered Emma Manners today on Good Morning Britain (which I watch every day). Listening to the banter between Emma and Piers, I instantly loved her. And she made some very good points! Interesting projects and completely agree with her views on sustainable farming for the immediate community. (not factory farming or chain restaurants shipping in mystery meat from lord knows where) Personally I would like to see more from Emma and less media bullying of Meghan.
@@TheVideoWhisperer , Thank you so very much! I will most definitely will let you know closer to the time we start planning our vacation. The beginning of the year is the busiest time for me work wise. Probably closer to Summer. Thanks again!
Susan Durrant, I've removed your comments (and you) from the channel, but I must say, it's amazing how many internet trolls watch stuff and people they don't like just so they can leave nasty comments.
What a down to earth woman, but where are her servants to handle the menial things such as driving, laundry, cooking etc. She almost lives like a brand new celebrity
A houseful of servants is very expensive these days. It is also fairly intrusive if you like some privacy. I remember back in the 1960s when our house took 14 staff to run it, and the highest paid, our butler, earned £15 a week. Now a good butler can demand £500 a week. Add the cost of housing, feeding, access to a car and all the other costs, and you are easily looking at £50000 a year, for one person.
So I’ve wondered for years if I’m related to this royal family and it turns out I am, I hope to meet and see everyone and everything at some point in my life, I believe this to be very unique and coincidental so from my half ass research it goes as following: - Thomas Manners 1st Earl of Rutland, England - Henry Manners (Thomas son) 2nd Earl - John Manners 4th Earl (1 of 2 Earl children of Henry) - George Manners 7th Earl (1 of 3 Earl children of John) - John Manners (second cousin of George) 8th Earl of rutland - then something happens and John 8th Earl has ANTONIE MANNERS in 1641 in Alkborough, lincolnshire, England (if correct) - then John Manners (antonies only son?) born in 1679 in Yorkshire, England but dies in America in 1770 Now to America: - John Manners Sr. and Rebecca stout have a son named John in America 1728 - John Jr. then married Anne stout (family member of Rebecca?) I believe John Jr. had an affair and had Abraham Manners aka “Christopher Manners” in 1769-1770 - (John later named another child Abraham who only lived to 14 years young) - - Then at 17-18 years old “Christopher” had Michael Manners 1787 - - Michael then has William Allen Manners 1822 - - William A. manners then has James Monroe Manners 1850 - - James M. manners has William Emmit Manners 1889 - - Then William E. Manners has Shelby Leon Manners 1927 - - Shelby L Manners then has a daughter named Debra Manners 1956 who had a son named Joseph Manners 1974 - - My dad had me, Cody Manners 1997 - - And now my son Braxton Manners

Horrible comment to make. You don't know her. I see nothing wrong with her. She is very polite and keeps to herself.. The only common one here is you. No manners no class. Jealousy is a wonderful attribute to your twisted personality
TheVideoWhisperer no trolling here, just amazed by how inflated the bubble where she lives in is. «I’m an ASDA girl». She seems nice and all, but she is so out of touch with the unprivileged cold bleak reality that it’s funny.

She’s the estate manager
Awesome. So into aristocracy right now! It's nice to see some of the families still thriving and doing well.
Into aristocracy? Lel
The aristocracy has always adapted to changed circumstances. That's how aristocratic families have survived for centuries.

Let me know when you want to arrive. I can arrange a meeting with the Duchess and tour of Belvoir Castle and Estate.

Seems like the title and estate might be a bit of an albatross. I wouldn't want it, but she's a classy woman and wears it well. Be happy Duchess.
