Thanks!! We had an amazing trip. We visited Mexico, Thailand, Cambodia, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Jordan, Egypt, and Morocco. In the coming weeks we’ll have some more videos out featuring each destination. All the best. - Jeff
Beautiful videos. Evan is getting a wonderful education on the diversity of life and how it one life is dependent on another. Both above and below the surface of the seas. Thank you for sharing this video and look forward to seeing more. Dive safe.
Thank you Sam - we appreciate your comment. Yes, Evan had a great education in many ways and it was fun doing these things with him. We all learned from this experience in some way. More videos to come!
We have been missing your videos and now we know why. All I can say is just WOW! A trip of a lifetime and we are fortunate that you have shared with us. Your best yet Thanks!!
Thank you so much Todd! We are excited to share all the diving we experienced. It was all a fantastic experience and hope to inspire other divers to explore new sites.
I am a long-time subscriber. I think this is one of your best videos ever. The sense of adventure and cultural experiences really. shined. While I have been to a few of the places you visited, there are so many other beautiful places to see and dive! Thanks for sharing this.
Wow! Thank you so much for your comment! We had so many different experiences this summer and we are excited to share them all. We'll be releasing full videos on our diving adventures next. I hope we've inspired you to add one or two new places to your list!
@@TritonsRealm Great! I look forward to seeing them. I also look forward to coming back soon to STX to dive the Fred Pier and North Wall. I loved the Octo and Frogfish action there. The Fred Pier is one of the few that I feel is better than my beloved Blue Heron Bridge in my backyard here in WPB. Have a great weekend.
@@freston4 I love the BHB. It takes me an hour to get there from Port St Lucie. I have met people from all over the world that go there to dive. Every time I go, I see something new.
That was an incredible journey and adventure! To be able to explore so many parts of the world in just a few short months - just WOW! Look forward to seeing some of great videos of your travels. 🤙
Wow! What an incredible journey! Watching this I actually got goosebumps imagining what an amazing experience this would be. The things you saw, the experience, just Wow! So cool. I felt like I was viewing a preview for a National Geographic special!
Thanks John! We appreciate all the kind words. It was certainly an incredible adventure. We’ll have more videos in the coming weeks. All the best - Jeff
Absolutely! We kept a pretty detailed budget, but all said and done with transportation, food, lodging, diving, and other expenses, the trip came to $310 USD per person per day for 71 days. Some destinations were less expensive than others. For example, we spent $20 per person for dinner, drinks, and a one-hour massage in Thailand but splurged on a $120 per person dinner in Egypt. We stayed on three liveaboard dive boats that were about $3000 per person per week. We could have done it cheaper in some areas but often decided to splurge because we figured the opportunity was right now, as we're not sure if/when we'll ever be back to some locations. The cost of scuba diving varied. In Koh Tao, Thailand, we spent about $400 for three people to dive twice daily for three days. In contrast, we spent $320 per person at Deep Dive Dubai for one single dive. We traveled independently in every country except Egypt. We often opted for public transportation but did rent a car in Jordan and Morocco. In Egypt, with the help of a tour company, we had a private driver and a personal egyptologist as daily guides who traveled with us. We got to experience and learn about much of Egypt that way, but it added to the trip's overall cost. Great question. I hope this helps. -- Jeff

Thanks for watching!
Why? Because it’s there!
Right! There is so much to explore!
Either you didn't go around the world in one direction or your video & timing are out of order. Thanks for the Petra tip. I'll be there in 6 weeks.
